Hey everyone! I've been working on a website for a Bitcoin Lottery for a little while now. I originally used Mt. Gox merchant to receive payments until I tested it and found out there is no way for purchasers to include a name or an address to ship their winnings to. Now I'm using bitmerch which allows buyers to include their name and wallet address in the order comments box. Here is the site! www.bitcoinlottery.coThe lottery works by including all purchasers' names in a pool and then a random one is drawn from the pool and they receive the winnings! 99% of the pot! I have seen some other lottery sites that have you pick numbers, but with this, there is a winner every time. Drawings will be made every Saturday at 4 PM Central Time I will include an extra .2 BTC for the winner this first time just to encourage some people to test it.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Hey,
I suggest making it so you can simply send Bitcoins to an address rather than using coinbase for each ticket. And then you'd simply send the winner's address the pot. Also, you should look into making this provably fair. At the moment there is no way for someone buying a ticket to know whether it is fixed or not.
Best of luck to you, if you make these changes you'd see a lot more ticket traffic I'm sure.

Without going into technicalities.. I believe your layout is really all over the place.
Make it neater and easier to understand.
Best of luck with the website!

I have made some changes to the way it works and right now what I have is a form that a person can fill in their name, email, and wallet address. Then I can send them a personal wallet address to send their Bitcoin so that I may identify them and how much they have sent. The other methods I have used have either taken too long or just sucked in general. I'm not exactly sure how I can show that its fair like you suggest. Ideas?

After this first lottery, I have made a few of changes to the Lottery Site
They are: 1. New way to purchase lottery tickets - Instead of including a "Purchase" button on the site, you must now fill out a form with basic contact information. - When you fill out the form, I will email back a personal bitcoin wallet address so that I may differentiate your purchases from other users.
2. Improved Page Layout - Made the page easier to understand (hopefully)
If you could go to the site and check it out, and give feedback on how I can improve it, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!
