He sells 250k stolen bitcoins for .01 from the hacked account, and buys them all with his real account. Much profit if he actually pulled it off.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

my email was on that list and i woke up this morning to find my password changed on my email account.. i have reset it - but this is a wake up .. assume your passwords have been compromised
