I do not know about spam but they say they are unable to handle all support tickets and they need additional people, I think it will be back sometime

Every time I visited that exchange I would see floods of text just going down the list, it was an effort to even read the last sentence typed without it moving.

I do not think it is a definite reason to justify that they are really dead, because I know poloniex is a great market, they will not be short of people to solve this ticket problem, because I think it's just uncertainty and unclear reasons in such a case this.

Lately it was so flooded there, that I don't think anybody was reading it. Only FUDers and speculators were posting every hundredth of the second it was hard to even read something. Don't think anybody was influenced by the trollbox.

Why would a person spend time in a trollbox?

This could be attributed to that person, nothing could be read because there were so many already written.

A big exchange like Poloniex should handle their chatbox properly on Yobit you will get a ban up to 7 days if you keep spamming their chatbox,they really need to keep it clean this is one feature where you can tell if the site lose it's control .

don't you have to have a minimum balance on btc-e to troll? i seem to remember it's an insane amount now like a $5000 equivalent. they should do something similar, but lower.

was it really that interesting? it was a useless feature in my opinion and only took up resources. the server resources that could have been dedicated to a more smooth trading platform and also an open socket that took some part of your bandwidth while visiting the site

simple... let only level 3 verified people only post on the trollbox (those who have uploaded their ID and have a $25K limit).... kind of reminds me of IMDB getting rid of their messageboards... IMDB now sucks... poloniex is still useful though.

I also observed that everytime I visit poloniex. Most of them are spams but some are problems about trading.
