ACOIN heading to the top 100 list

I recently came across ACOIN a couple days ago after seeing a large amount of volume. Even more appealing was it's steady increase in price over the last 2 weeks or so. Looking further into it I'm now seeing a huge increase in hashrate. Is that a good sign? Looking at the original announcement thread it seems like this is an older coin, but has recently been being worked on by a few people. Their main goal is to make and maintain a "healthy" blockchain. They've also done work to the wallet, setup a new website, and continue to put in additional work. I've never heard of the coin before, but made a little investment after seeing the hashrate increase. Does anyone have an opinion or insight into the increase and/or what it means for the coin's future exactly?

there's truth in what you are saying. rumours say that it will be accepted on BITTREX in a couple of weeks and maybe more markets later.
that would for sure skyrocket the price. and with that short supply it could be the first coin to pass the bitcoin astronomical price.

This would be a very funny thing to see. if ACOIN will reach XRP market cap for example, the price will be twice as higher as bitcoin.

there is one factory presented at one bbc documentary. one of the biggest in the world. mining BTC.
idk if they mine ETH also, however, that's not the point.

the point is that ACOIN is low on supply: 1.2 milion.
Go to 1.2 billion market cap and it will be the second (not sure if this is correct) that will reach the 1000 usd/coin value.

I don't know about a 1.2 billion marketcap for a while, but certainly $1,000,000 is likely. I would imagine double digit millions possible though to get it into the top 100.

In the meantime... ACOIN just passed $0.10! Here's to the next milestone!

Facts about the coin are interesting, but it seems that there is no real activity around the dev, so you're probably right.
Don't think it'll hit bittrex or so any time soon :/

ACOIN is presented on only two exchanges, Cryptopia and YoBit, and the 24h trading volume for this coin isn't big, around $7k. With such low trading volume it's easy to manipulate coin's price so those charts say little about potential of ACOIN in my opinion.
