Hello everyone, this is my first topic to bitcointalk, so excuse me if this is the wrong place to start this topic.
But I really needed to get this out asap.

I just visited the following website https://omisegotoken.com/airdrop/

It all looks quite legit (except for the supposedly valuable airdrop), untill you have to enter your private key.
This is like kicking an open door to most of you, I know. But just in case NEVER ENTER YOUR PRIVATE KEY.

Everyone have a good day! Happy trading  Wink

Any site or person that requires a private key is always a scam. No airdrop ever needs a private key.

There are several of these on twitter. People need to be responsible & take care.
Too many scams
Not only omisego, there exist also for chainlink or golem for example.
Be cautious !

Normal airdrop will not ask you enter private key, so 100% this is scam. Now more and more scam appear with different fraud, so must be careful

YES - I got this same SCAM email.  I am guessing they got my email from one of these FREE AirDorp Coins.  I have applied for several free airdrops.  The OMG AirDrop already happened a few months ago. NEVER GIVE PRIVATE KEYS...

Here I look aidrop called scam. The funny bit to hear that, really on the Internet a lot of scams. It is necessary to carefully and carefully choose the projects. But if you just go handing out coins, but the party has virtually no risk.

It is unfortunate so many people in crypto fall for this kind of scams.
