Hi, I downloaded the Verge wallet then added a password and closed it, but when I went to open it again I copied and pasted the same password to test it but it says it is incorrect?  wtf?

So I deleted the Verge Zip file and Verge-qt and Verged file but when I reinstalled it and unzipped it, it asked me for a password again?

I have no coins in there so I dont really care, just want to know how i can download it and start fresh without it asking for a password, is it remembering my IP or something?

And I still have no idea why the password wouldn't work, it was on a note pad right next to it and had not changed.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
