Yes Facebook has its place, but the founders at Flowfeed, me being one of them, realised to see the most sought-after content a different type of social network needed to be created.

A social network that in essence acts as an information/content marketplace where content providers are incentivised to actually share valuable information with their audience or followers.

For example why would Warren Buffet ever Tweet his most sought after information and experiences or post it on Faceboook. The answer is because he is not incentivised to do so. Or why would Vitalik Buterin take the time to really give detailed information about his experiences working on a project unless he was really incentivised to do so? Not general content, but truly sought-after content and information. Again the answer is because he is most likely not incentivised to do so. Yes platforms like Facebook and Twitter have their place but now picture a platform where Warren Buffet and Vitalik Buterin advise their current followers to go for the most premium, sought-after information. This picture will be Flowfeed.

For example, if Warren Buffet just advised I should go to Flowfeed to access his latest view about a company and why certain investment strategies are connected to this company, I would surely pay $10 or $10/month to access information from him like this. And I'm sure there would be thousands of other people who would also pay $10/month for this premium information. If say 5000 people wanted to follow him on Flowfeed, that would be almost $50K/month for Warren Buffet, taking into account fees to the platform. Yes I know I know, it's not like Warren Buffet needs any more $ but here you can see how all of a sudden people are now incentivised to share sought-after information if they are paid to do it, quickly and easily.

From big-time influencers to every day people (anyone with content, information, ideas, experiences etc), the concept is simple. Flowfeed can be used to sell valuable content. Use the normal social platforms for general info/content but use Flowfeed to sell or buy the most sought-after content.

Any questions or opinions I would love to hear them. We are about positivity and disruption, and we feel a platform like Flowfeed can disrupt many normal notions of social networks and information flow. So far the community allocation pre-ICO has been very strong. Please visit www.flowfeed.com.

What's going on with Flowfeed? I've been getting an "Application Error" message (I'm assuming it's a NodeJS app?) for the last two weeks whenever I visit the site. Is this project DOA?
