I do know and I've read any thing I could.

I am not talking about Mining. I am talking about Staking.

I did not find any where information about XEL being PoW or PoS.

Hence I am asking, if XEL is PoS and if so which type of, if there are minimum amount needed?
How is the taking method works? lock them on a wallet?

Also I wonder if there are masternodes..

There is no staking.
There is forging of blocks but no new XEL is made. Only transaction fees are paid to block forgers. More like PoW but without the reward

When the main feature is launched you'll be able to sell cpu power to earn XEL that other people pay for processing jobs.
That will feel more like Pool mining, although in reality it's not that similar in the way it works.

We don't know yet when that will be ready. I doubt it will be this year

Bittrex advertising BTC address: 1P4uqK7PCCsM3nNr3oRzaa8EMooBnhLVa2

Remember that we need 3 BTC. Don't transfer any BTC after 3 BTC limit is reached. If you want to check if we already have 3 BTC here you have link to explorer: https://blockchain.info/pl/address/1P4uqK7PCCsM3nNr3oRzaa8EMooBnhLVa2

What does it mean to be "spotlighted" by Bittrex? Do we get some article written highlighting the technical components and product that XEL provides? Or is it just like a more defined position on the website? My apologies, I have little experience using Bittrex.

My computer crashed and am now told hard drive is badly damaged and all data destroyed.

I am now locked out of my Elastic wallet.

I wrote down the 12 word passphrase but I have lost the XEL Account number.

Is there any way to get access to my wallet with just the passphrase?

Thanks for any advice.

You can login with your passphrase

Early adopter dumpers are fading away slowly.

I guess we will see slow but steady price increase from now on.

Expect the unexpected ;1.000 BTC will X10 XEL price.

Happy to be strong hand with XEL Smiley

Logo just shows up on "the spotlight" space on the site, sometimes. Pointless

Still 30 times above ICO price (200 times or so relative to USD), considering the massive bagholders dumping is to be expected, most of the supply is in the hands of a few

700 sats. Around 700 btc raised during ICO spread among the total supply of 100,000,000 XEL. So more like 20 times above ICO price now (140 times above in USD since btc was 7 times less back then)

http://elasticexplorer.org/ at the bottom of the page

Top 10 balances hold 50% of the circulating supply. Top 100 balances hold 94% of the circulating supply.

The guy ranked 100 can dump 15 btc of XEL, the guy ranked 10 can dump 300 btc

Whales invest? LOL, i know several folks who invested a fraction of a Bitcoin. How is that a "whales invest"?

It was basically an ICO just with the big difference that no obligation whatsoever was being made. Was it risky? Of course it was, but that's how crypto works.

Any one mind to tell if XEL is Proof of Stake?

Is it possible to stake it ?

You can "stake" it to earn a share of transaction fees.  Not much right now but might be eventually.

So it's not PoS even yet?

It's PoS without inflation at the moment. So rewards come solely from fees.

Longterm there will be a reward for solving tasks sent to the network. Something like Masternodes is being thought of but not definitely decided yet.
