I just bought some XEL on heat. I'm trying withdraw XEL from HEAT AE using the guide.

Which states:

Step 1E: Withdraw XEL from HEAT AE

Transfer the XEL asset (id 3413518603556647655) to the HEAT account 9911527222839566773, see the figure above.

Enter the amount you would like to transfer and in the message field type or copy in your XEL- address and nothing else.

Finally press SEND. After 20 confirmations on the HEAT blockchain, the XEL will be transfered to your account on the XEL blockchain.

So I click on transfer asset.

Recipient:  9911527222839566773

Asset:  XEL (3413518603556647655)

Amount:  0.05 (small amount to test transfer)

Message:  XEL-....

It tells me "no matches found" for recipient and asset, "no enough funds" for amount and I'm unable to click send.

Help please!

You have enought HEAT to pay 0.01 fee?

Yes. The wallet in the top left corner show I have enough HEAT to pay.

Guys i just saw rich list of xel. it says one wallet has 36million coins. surely that cant be right i thought biggest whale was 6million

hey mate, you are wrong, it is genesis account , Genesis account is redeem accont , 36m coin not redeemed yet. (max supply 100m. coin)
http://elasticexplorer.org/address/XEL-H22F-GBXY-4BXS-6S4VQ/
http://elasticexplorer.org/about/

phew thanks mate that. 13 people with stashes over 1million two have 11million combined. will be interesting to see when they dump

That doesn't mean anything! Bitcoin and all other coins have wallets with great amount.

bitcoin is more established now and so are others. xel is new in the game. plus bitcoin all saw mega dumps before they got really big investors now

I gave escrow service a lot of people and I know just a few guys have at least 2-3 million XEL with this price, So already that bought XEL.
people buying millions at 20-25k sat?

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

How much BTC did Elastic collected in the ICO? Are there enough funds left for Development to continue?

Some interesting articles in the elastic blog:

There are many FIAT / Crypto exchanges which can be used as a gateway.  Building an elastic only fiat gateway might be easier to implement since it could be spun in a way that its strictly buying tokens for a decentralized computer vs. buying crypto currencies.  In this way someone might be able to circumvent the KYC regimes in most places.

Its simply an online purchase of tokenized cloud computing resources akin to amazon or ibm services.

But doesn't that mean that:

(a) the purchase of XEL becomes centralised and we end up with a centralised element in our decentralised system

(b) we still end up creating a centralised commercial business, if it doesn't get caught up in the crypto sphere

(a) Well, yes and no. If I buy BTC with fiat on an exchange, I buy it from a centralized instance. That doesn't mean that BTC as a whole is centralized. I would expect multiple instances from which XEL can be purchased. In fact, buying XEL on the market and sell it at fixed daily prices may be an interesting business model, since you could have an income off the arbitage.

(b) Even if a Elastic foundation was founded and ran a XEL/fiat gateway, this could not keep others from doing the same. And should this gateway get hacked and the XEL got stolen or the foundation would cease to exist, the Elastic Network and its code would still be out there.

- There was no real ICO, around 700 BTC were donated.

- All this money is lost, either by Lannister running off or by him, well, dying. He mentioned health problems.

The development was unaffected by this incident. EK, coralreefer worked without prospects of reimbursement, but were rewarded with donations of XEL after mainnet release.

For all intents and purposes, It's safe to say that at the moment, there are no centrally collected development funds, in any currency.

Feel free to read through the old thread to find out why this is not considered an issue.

ROFL and you keep posting your comments which look like a 3 year old wrote them and you are calling me stupid?  You are the perfect demonstration of the saying "Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and Remove All Doubt."

Are there any (I'm sure much future plans) to pitch this to aerospace/military?

Specifically computational fluid dynamics simulations might be of huge benefit to the Lockheed Martin, Boeing, SpaceX, NASA type entities.

I suspect that they have the resources to keep these things in house - further they may have security commitments which may not allow them to use something like this.
