You are correct. Xapo to Xapo transfers are free, same like Coinbase off-chain transfers.
But Coinbase is better at one aspect - they don't charge fees for receiving small transactions.

They are going to charge you with higher fee than the small amount that you are about to receive. And that's why xapo is no longer good.

An update also that they will no longer operate for bitcoin debit card holders outside Europe.

I used to use it in the past a lot and it used to be my favorite wallet but ever since they started charging such high fee for transactions I stopped using it completely. Though their fee structure provides for both standard priority fee and high priority fee and they say the fee doesn't go to them but I doubt if they don't keep some fraction of it plus the fee is applied on incoming transactions too I don't think xapo is worth using now.

I have stopped using Xapo as a bitcoin wallet because there is no options for the users to customize the transaction fees, since the price surge in bitcoin, miners transaction fees have become extremely expensive because of bitcoin values, so I prefer to use a bitcoin wallet that allows me to set my own transaction fees whenever I send bitcoins out of my wallet.

I dont know why some people do make use on exchange wallets.They do really charge huge fees which is more than on the regular charge of the network.Just like on my local wallet provider they do really charge up ridiculously high this is why i decide to make use electrum instead on having your own private keys you can anytime adjust your fees according to your own decision.

Its because of lack of knowledge most probably. i mean if you know something better and you can literally reach it why won't you go there? this solves the question why most newbies uses exchanges and online wallets as their main wallet. the other reason i could think of is because theay don't have the gadgets for it e.g. pc for windows wallet or mycelium for android/ios

Seriousky 92,000 satoshi's for each transaction that will be prioritized? 70,000 satoshi's is still too big for me. That's why I never use them again, they are charging higher fees, they are business but that's too much. We are into crypto currencies because we are avoiding big fees from centralized transactions. If that makes you a loyal user, wait for some updates for xapo and let's see if you'll stay if they'll asked for another increase.

That's still high, I will not going to change my web wallet. I'm good with blockchain.info before everyone loved to use xapo but change of their terms and service is killing their business. They are even limiting the usage of their debit card. They should be aware that the fees now are quite lower than before and their customers are starting to leave them. I'll be back to them when they started to lower the fees.

I know about that and I'm one of those people that are using them before when I started on claiming with faucets because they are friendly with people who are earning low amount.

And the changes made everyone stop them to use especially those small amount claimers because the fees are even higher rather than their sending amount.

Xapo is becoming to lose their popularity because of that changed of rule that they made. It's not even applicable because they can just simply get a smaller fees just like what blockchain.info is doing. But it looks like they want to make profit out of the transaction of people even with smaller volumes and doesn't want to offer anymore a free transaction or help for small time bitcoiners or traders. I wish that they will change this regulation and will be back again for free or if not, with lowered fees.

Sorry, but in todays standards, even at current levels, that's nothing more than dust. In general, it's pointless to transact with such insignificant amounts due to the fees that are equally as high, or mostly even higher. Another thing is that miners tend to ignore such transactions for a good while, till there is nothing better to include in their blocks, financially speaking. I support any wallet service that is following such measures in order to prevent the network from being choked by such insignificant transactions. Every wallet service is suited for daily use, but there are too many people looking to save a few satoshis here and there, and thus write down these services as being 'not suited for frequent use'.

It's their decision of increasing the fees, most of the web wallets now aren't free and they are not offering a service that's for free now.

It's pointless for any service to lower and then to increase its fees constantly -- it will result in confusion and a lot of unhappy customers. People have been spoiled previously with free external transactions, and now act like something very precious has been taken away from them. People should understand that wallet services are businesses looking to make profit, and thus aren't charities to help the cheapskates here to move their faucet pennies. It is it really that difficult to place yourself in the shoes of the business in question?

This is still a general thing and not just xapo alone. However, apart from the fees being high, I do not know why I have never really fancied xapo wallet. If I were to use an online wallet for any of my transaction, I had rather make use of blockchain.info ... the service that could have made me consider them which is the xapo card is even going to be stopped soon anyway.
