I've heard Golem is a scam because for it to work they would need to solve like 3 problems worth 3 Nobel Prizes each which is ridiculous. Is this true?

If so, then how does Golem compare to iExec RLC? In relative to total supply, at around $1 it may be undervalued, BUT i have no idea about the fundamentals and I don't want to buy into a scam.

Maybe it's better to read each white paper (Golem and Iex.ec) yourself.

Every post you will read here can be motived by the writer interest.

For serious project, you'll find full team ID too, and you can google them.

Golem is the real deal and once Brass is released this Q, expect big things from this company.

Honestly im no technically versed enough to read a whitepaper and know if im being scammed or not, so I hae to outsource and know the opinion of 3rd persons that are skilled enough.

The idea (in principle) is good, but again, i've read critics saying this is not going to work in practice.

Golem has a huge team and a very detailed roadmap. People in the community are very positive about them and they are sticking to the milestones they promised. I think it is a great project.

Golem has a huge continuity and a large team of talented dev. Brass should come sometime this month, you can try it out and judge for yourself Smiley.

RLC have a lot of work to do, I believe Golem are further along.

Both creating useful tech, this isn't a winner and loser movement.

This is what im talking about. Mindless shilling, no real arguments. Just the usual "its a great project, people are very positive" etc.

Where are the facts?

Can anyone make a comparative to see the real differences between Golem and iExec to see any potential struggles during the roadmap?

I dont want to buy vaporware.

Hi,

Basically, Golem's goal is to build an accessible-to-everyone, distributed, supercomputer.

iExec's goal is to build a distributed network where anyone can monetize their computing resources and servers.

The 2 projects first goal (6 months after the end of the crowdsale):

"Brass Golem" proof-of-concept, in alpha testing now, is focused on rendering in Blender and LuxRender, it will be useful to CGI artists.

"iEx.ec v1" will allow DApps to launch off-chain computations and retrieve the results. Part of the solution to ETH's gas price problem (http://www.coindesk.com/ethereums-double-edged-sword-will-rising-price-hurt-users/)

The concept of golem and RLC are attractive but what remains is that,is it really feasible for them to create a super computer that could enable everyone to use their network, theoretically it is cool to hear their plans, but i all depends upon their execution, since i am not following their development i am not in a position to comment on their activities ,but sure i would like to test them out once they release it,i am sure google and amazon will follow their development and come up with an alternative in the future.
