We can't be so sure about this. We know bitcoin is unpredictable in terms of it's price, and there is this network splitting thing that will make another panic to investors and users of bitcoin. I think in October, there will be just $3000. The price is slowly increasing and if the news about this August boom, I think it will make the price dump.

That might be going to happen as we have crossed the long time speculated $3000. Now users will start focusing on the next price which is $5000 and in between the sustainability or the resistance gain is expected to take place around $4000. And this time we can expect things to happen by the year end, October seems very short.

I;d say we might get above 3k$ when Australia legalized it maybe 3100$ or something or I might be wrong as well. But I don't see that it will hit 4000$ in the near future, at least not for now. It could hit 4k$ once thats for sure.

Yeah, that will be the basis of the price these upcoming month. But I think, even before August come, bitcoin price will be dumping, not a big dump, but it will be decreasing little by little. Because we all know that there are people that will be panicking about these netwok split, $4000 bitcoin price can wait, for now, let's focus on what's coming.

I totally agree with you. Bitcoin is showing an increase in price each and everyday and i believe it will pass the 4000$ mark by the end of month of November. It will be around 4500$ by end of this year.

It's highly possible you are right but I certainly hope it doesn't reach 10k$ by the end of October because it wouldn't be a healthy rise going up so much so fast. That kind of growth will lead to huge pumps and dumps and as much as we like to say its all weak hands leaving the market, it really is important for new people not to be put off.

Though it is highly possible it'll reach that price, we still can't be too sure about it. We will just have to wait until August and see what bitcoin has to offer at that time, then we can speculate if it'll reach that $4000 mark.

Bitcoin trading above $4000 before October end this year might not be possible but touching it is possible. Though as a trader I am interested on bitcoin trading above $4000 as this will give much returned on my involvement.

For some 4000 is not the limit, the predictions go up to 5000 or 6000. It's not impossibe and looking how price is going up this seems logical step but still that price will not be achieved over night, there are many factors on the market that can influence price so we have to be patient and also be prepared for some dumps/corrections meanwhile.

If NASDAQ money comes to BTC, we can see 4000 in a week after that! So it may happen even in this summer.

If everything goes well, bitcoin would possibly touch $4k mark after July (or possibly earlier). It strongly depends on how people would be following suit over what will happen within the next few months. July is a great month for bitcoin, Aussies are going to have bitcoin side by side with AUD. August will be a rough month because we'll be seeing a possible chain split if consensus (again) isn't meant.

If we follow the rate we are doing right now we might see this price and if bitcoins do get more adoption in the national levels in a lot more countries beside Japan, then that is totally possible. Also if we can clear up the issues with the forks of bitcoins, then that could also result to more increases in the near future.

A dump is possible but similarly it won't, and even it happens, it won't effect much I believe. And at the end of this year $4500-$5000 is quite possible as per the current analysis.

Reaching the $4000 level is nothing more than one of the many milestones that we will experience in the coming years. If you do a simple calculation, $4000 is just over 35% away from current levels, so from that point it's nothing special -- I am looking forward to five figure levels. I will keep holding my coins as I have done since my early days here, and combine that with some occasional trading.

Well bitcoin in 4000$ is not unexpected anymore based on what price of bitcoin today it is expected that bitcoin will rise up to 5000$ in the near future absolutely many of the traders just holding some of it so better to hold some too.

People aren't investing in ETH for the ideals of cryptocurrency, they are buying ETH for the ideals of bankers..

I think BTC will be $10k in 2017 no matter what ETH does to be honest but I expect a big BTC spike when ETH tumbles down..

I don't think I'm going to sell any BTC until I can sell one or less for a nice house on a paved road/driveway with a garage..
