Bitcoin $3000

We have already been this year at 3000$. At least for a while, but still. In the meantime this smaller correction has happened but shortly after that the price begun to rise again. If market goes on the stable up going track again we could see 3000$ in very short period of time.

The correction did happened already. And now bitcoin seems to be having hard time to cross the mark of $2,700. It reached $2,600 yesterday but now it's back at $2,400. So this look likes we are now in a calm market and with my observation what is going to happen next. There will be a blowing up to the price for the next days.

The price did drop today. After a calming 2 days of seeing it around $2500-$2600 price. It looks like there are panic selling again. I hope it will just be another short lived dip because if not then the elusive $3000 will be difficult to reach. I don't know what cause this selling again. Are people losing faith in bitcoin now?

The price drop today after touch at $2,674 and drop to $2,490 in bitstamp price.. I think its not a panic sell its just a normal movement of the price that there are someone are selling few bitcoins to gain a  profit.. if they bought the price from $2,300 value they already got the profit if they sell it today,,
And i think the price can be increase back again soon.. just don't panic to sell if you want to make profit..

Yup. I was also surprised today by the sudden dip of the price but from the looks of it, this is just another price correction. People cash out for profit we can't blame them for that. Others decided to just sit back and wait and not panic sell because price will rise up again after this correction.

Well I don't see it as price correction, because some speculations might hinder the price pump and gaining investors who hold for another long term investments is so hard now. That price we've seen is a legit update and it only happens price falls down due to some were pulling out their bitcoins and sell due to some fears created by those unfair bitcoins investors who only wanted cheaper price to buy for holdings.

For now mate price is flirting with $2600 I think pumpers are refueling for another round maybe tomorrow we'll see some $250 increase?

I don't know why price isn't touching $3K as every time it goes above $2900 someone dumps a big amount of Bitcoins and pushes the price down.

I don't consider it as a drop as the price is still good at $2,500 mark, so it is still calm. Those panic sellers are thinking that this is just a bubble and it popped so they are trying to cope up their possible profit. I've read about the Elliott chart and I'm not good at analyzing those charts but I guess we are currently on that chart. And we will possibly see $3,000 very soon.

there is always a price increase bitcoin today. You might be lucky enough to get bitcoin at the 2,000USD rates. When current rates bitcoin are in the range of 2,500USD, to reach 3,000USD still takes some time. There should be a positive news that can raise the value of bitcoin. So 3,000USD will be achieved and not just a dream.

You know it's really reasonable to become positive about the future of bitcoin and reaching the target price by most of the others. We have reason to become optimistic rather than we are just dreaming about bitcoin should be like this and this and this.

Im a hell positive too about the future of bitcoin and reaching $3,000 is just an easy task. For sure that price will be one of the cheapest price soon. We see good changes, not just good changes but surprising good changes happened in bitcoin for the past years even there are major events that bitcoin price are being pulled down.

Now there is a serious chance that it will be activated with the required support (I am still not sure whether the mandatory minimum level of support is 80% or 95%). So unless Jihan Wu pulls dirty tricks, BTC exchange rates should blast upwards within a few days time.

Well it's not a big deal in the long run I remember it wasn't that long ago when we were making threads about leaving 1K behind forever and here we are at $2675 and I do not feel in the slightest that we will see 1K again until forking does something if it is contentious ha-ha and then it would be one side only with the two together still passing the sum ^^ (Optimistic forking viewpoint) Or Segwit2x goes whichever occurs

Didn't notice it, could you share a link about the consensus?
I'm wondering whether this segwit will be good as what we expected from long time ago, when there are a lot of drama to prolong this problems. If all going so well, then $3000 is easy to achieved within days and bitcoin should reach over $5000 in this year.

yes it can reach again over night. and will not take any longer time, because the price of bitcoin has good potential and it is the nature of bitcoin that it can cover 5 to 6 hundred dollar over night. therefore 3000$ is not such a difficult task for bitcoin .

In simple terms, if 80% is maintained for a long enough time, it will activate on all SegWit2X compatible nodes. After that, it will take around 3 months before the hard fork will automatically activate on all nodes that run SegWit2X. Other than that, Jihan Wu is nothing more than a barking dog -- very loud in general, but no actions follow that back up his claims/threats....

On a average its currently stands at $2750. Maybe we can touch $3000 before the end of the week. So its better to hold on it. I hope when we reaches it again, it will stay and maintain it for a time. I'm seeing that $3000 is more on a mental barrier now, too attracting to easily sell it because of the profit.

The price went up at $2,730 now. There's almost $270 more to come so that we'll reach at $3,000. And if the price did go up to $2,800 tomorrow or for the next day. Then we will see the price of bitcoin at $3,000 and that's very possible to happen for the next week to come. It's why I keep on holding bitcoins.

It will hit $3000 or over. Bitcoin shows that each major up is much more than the previous up, been like this for atleast end of the year.

You have a point there, most of the users will obviously sell their bitcoins when another All Time High (ATH) bitcoin price show up after this network splitting. That is their strategy to gain or earn profit, as an investor who can't say yes to profit. Though, even it dumps or pumps, I'll keep holding my bitcoins until it reach my goal price.
