I do not believe any forecasts. The situation is changing every day and nobody really knows what the price will be tomorrow. In five years a lot can happen. Maybe the government will block any mention about bitcoin on the Internet.

Computer economic simulations but it at 3800 but I think it'll be a lot higher than that. The biggest changes are going to come with the supply starts to run low but that's not happening at that five year mark for another couple years after that. If you don't mind using a dry erase marker on your computer monitor then pull up the price history for a 10-year period just draw a line connecting the dots you'll see where it gets up down the road.

We can afford to be wrong on the polls but not wrong in our investment decision s.

This thread was made in early August so the OP obviously didn't know about how crazy the price would go. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but in 5 years I have to be thinking the price will be above the top option in the poll so - More than $25000
