it surely sucks to lose money like this but the only thing wrong you can accuse c-cex of is the fact that they didn't send you any emails. i have actually complained in a ticket a while ago about this. but you certainly can't call it a scam and open up a scam accusation topic, just because you forgot to update yourself.

and they change things a lot, for example this https://twitter.com/CryptoCurrEncyX/status/868516061687230465 nearly cost me a lot of money but it is my own duty to do some double, triple checks even before i deposit my money. i suggest following their twitter and also checking the wallets always and this is not just limited to c-cex, the same thing has happened with all other exchanges.

well if you would actually read what was written above you would see that the deposits were in automatic and the mining pool would send them without me knowing... so as they changed their policy and did not advise anyone  i dont feel my losing over half a etherum like this is correct on their behalf! ... and no i wont follow them on any of their social media ... im not interested. but i am shooting off letters to many different places making them all aware of this! they did not even reply to my ticket for 3 months and then said all deposits are valid and never deposited the ETH in my account! so please rethink your evaluation

Well,
It was a common thing in an exchangers when you complained about your deposit
And said 'we cannot see anything and never see any deposit to your account',
It happened because we're wrong for example like your cases and then they take it as an opportunity ( imo we're not wrong,but they did it intentionally ).
A lot of problem happened and not only in ccex,they're targeting small accounts and something like that.
Lastly,they wont sent it back to you and they wont credit your account.

It's scam imo but they did not do it fully only for somepeople

I don't know if this is just an isolated case but I'm pretty sure there are similar case that has not been reported. i DON'T LIKE CCEX reepresentative arrogance of not addressing the issue,they are running an exchange and an exchange must have a good support

I have been using C-Cex since early last year, with absolutely 0 issue. I have been dealing with altcoins that are much smaller in volume than Ethereum mainly on their website though, so i'm not sure how exactly Ethereum deposits work. Having a minimum of 1 Ethereum even when eth was below $100 was a bit of a stretch tbh.

If they aren't even bothered to respond then i'll be quitting their exchange to find a new one. There are just so many competitors out there that are equal to if not better than the service that you offer currently, C-Cex. It's better for you to respond and at least clear up the situation.

i understand your in a signature campaign  but please take time to read above and find all the links and verification needed. it doesn't take long to read pictures/snapshots and have the verification from others! so simply read ok?

But isn't this what you should want because you want more exposure for your thread, and ultimately giving you a higher chance of getting your ticket resolved, right? Besides, it's not like you're not in a sig campaign, i'm not in a sig campaign. Everyone is in a sig campaign here.


Even though I verified publicly that everything you said was correct and i said that you should get repaid, your attitude isn't right. C-cex is at fault, but you're partially at fault too.

1. You did not contact them earlier.
2. You are only contacting them after over half a year because the price of ethereum rose.
3. Their policy changed because the price of ethereum rose.
4. Their policy at the time of your deposit was that the minimum deposit was 1 ETH, and this is fact.
5. Nobody knew what you were going to do with these funds. You could have sold the ETH whilst it was still cheap and took the bitcoin.

It is a very ambigious case. The decision does not lie within our hands, but i believe that you should get repaid. Although calling them a scam/theft/misappropriation isn't very appropriate, as they clearly stated the rules before you deposited.

the fact of the matter is they replied to the support ticket ,saying everything was ok but then never deposited the funds into my account.. they replied after 3 months and by that time i have not used their website again...
and i have been attempting in every way to get some kind of communication with them but they are simply ignoring this issue!
the first 3 months of delay is on them and the second 3 months of delay is on me... TRUE.
BUT simply ignoring this fact is not a way to resolve this! and that is what they are doing.
as as for a sig campaign?= i am one of the very few that while in a sig campaign i do my due diligence and have never fallen below at least double or triple the minimum required in any part of the campaign... while im not in a campaign i do even more the only difference is my tone and approach   Grin

I do hope that your issue is resolved. I also Have C-Cex Skpye Id with me and once i consulted there for an issue, but they refused to help me and said log a ticket for issues.

the below snapshot is the PM i sent the OP/Dev/@C-Cex










a few months back i was mining ETH with some ricady old gpu and would send it to C-Cex to exchange it out.... everything was imposed on the mining pool in automatic until one day i found my deposit never got there!  come to find out they changed their policy without sending even an email and voided my deposit! "Void means they took it and slapped me in the face with it! here is the discussion...
the reason i am posting this is now their deposit is down to 0.1 ETH but they still never accredited that transaction /deposit to my account!
And the ticket is still open!

anyway ... i warn everyone to  not use their C-Cex exchange because this is how they ..............

Minimum deposit is 1 ETH. We have it written under your address that "Min. deposit is 1 ETH". This limitation connected to design of ETH transactions and how we have to process them to post to your balance. We can have ETH deposits with no commission only because of this limitation. All deposits below 1 ETH are spent into resending commission and can't be credited to balance.

while previously the minimum was 0.4 ETH and having already inserted the address into the miner for payment last month or so obviously if i did not have funds in the exchange i would not be here to randomly check if by chance your company would change the minimum balance requirements on deposits! so the 0.57664579 ETH
is lost and you will not offer any solution other then you taking it and doing whatever?

if you change policy without advising people this is the issue you rise! in the last few months i have deposited less then 1.0 each time and as you minimum was of 0.4 i respected it and sent this but if you changed the policy and i sent again without your advising of it then i would obviously not go to look simply thinking you might change it. i dont feel that appropiating of 0.57664579 ETH for whatever reason you use it for is unfair!

I've been using C-cex in the past for various altcoin transactions, i wasn't even aware of the minimum deposits for a lot of the deposits i did. Thankfully all my deposits were above limit, it would have been a real bummer if mine got stuck like yours.

C-cex should really pay you back. Other exchanges might have minimum deposits as well but usually what they do is if you deoposit an amount that is less than the minimum deposit they'll wait for the deposit address to gain at least the minimum deposit before crediting your account. C-cex should do the same, especially when the minimum has been lowered.

Plus, $200 shouldn't be much of an issue with them. Why can't they just pay you out instead of trying to avoid paying you? It probably takes more manpower on support to answer all your questions -_-

SEVEN Days? I guess at this point you feel lucky to have gotten it at all. Still there is no excuse for C-CEX abdicating their fiduciary responsibility and allowing this rampant rape of clients to continue. I've used them a few times and never saw much in the outright unprofessional and incompetence until this weekend. I was moving ETH in this particular case to purchase LTC before the fork. I'm on day 3 now. I had finally been able to enter a ticket after hours of "FULL" status not allowing one to be entered. I received repls in a couple hours stating I had pending withdrawals and I beeded to check my email and approve the transactions.
Keep in mind I was moving ETH into C-CEX.
Now over 2 days and no resolution or reply by C-CEX.
Etherchain accessed through C-CEX shows the delivery into my C-CEX receiving wallet. Easily verified by anyone. However no credit of ETH into my account. 3 days. Guess 7 is the lucky number.
C-CEX is below Yobit in my opinion. Is there not a regulating body over these centralized exchanges?
