a few months back i was mining ETH with some ricady old gpu and would send it to C-Cex to exchange it out.... everything was imposed on the mining pool in automatic until one day i found my deposit never got there!  come to find out they changed their policy without sending even an email and voided my deposit! "Void means they took it and slapped me in the face with it! here is the discussion...
the reason i am posting this is now their deposit is down to 0.1 ETH but they still never accredited that transaction /deposit to my account!
And the ticket is still open!

anyway ... i warn everyone to  not use their C-Cex exchange because this is how they ..............

Hello!

Minimum deposit is 1 ETH. We have it written under your address that "Min. deposit is 1 ETH". This limitation connected to design of ETH transactions and how we have to process them to post to your balance. We can have ETH deposits with no commission only because of this limitation. All deposits below 1 ETH are spent into resending commission and can't be credited to balance.

while previously the minimum was 0.4 ETH and having already inserted the address into the miner for payment last month or so obviously if i did not have funds in the exchange i would not be here to randomly check if by chance your company would change the minimum balance requirements on deposits! so the 0.57664579 ETH
is lost and you will not offer any solution other then you taking it and doing whatever?

if you change policy without advising people this is the issue you rise! in the last few months i have deposited less then 1.0 each time and as you minimum was of 0.4 i respected it and sent this but if you changed the policy and i sent again without your advising of it then i would obviously not go to look simply thinking you might change it. i dont feel that appropiating of 0.57664579 ETH for whatever reason you use it for is unfair!

1. Usually if exchanges want to make changes, they have to put a clear notification out in the notice board and give some time for everyone to adjust to the new rules. So just quietly changing the minimum deposit amount doesn't mean that they are void of every responsibility. They need to let the user know, and give them a chance.

2. Why do they even have such a high minimum deposit amount? Doesn't make sense at all. Bittrex have deposit minimums but these are usually less than $1-2. They also let you accumulate with various deposits up to the minimum amount so you can be credited in your account.

3. They said that they would put your ethereum into "commissions", that's just bullshit. Whatever they do they don't need $200 to process a deposit. C-cex is clearly an irresponsible company and a dickhead in general if this turned out to be true.

Waiting for their response on this matter. Don't use c-cex for now until this is resolved.

It's your money so I don't see any valid reason why they would just confiscate it from you like that you have not done anything wrong, they have done something wrong though by changing their policies without notifying anyone, like magneto said. I believe your story, but instead of copy pasting it would bring more credibility to your case if you could take a screenshot.

$200 is no joking matter, might not be the biggest amount but it could make a difference to ones life. I suggest you go to their thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418700.0 and write your complaint with all your proof on it. Then PM the C-cex admin on this forum about it because he will likely be negged on the forum if he didn't resolve your issue and thus giving you more chance of getting your money back.

I could do this for you if you trust me, however very little would be proved by me signing into your account. The maximum that will be achieved is to verify the validity of your claims with a third party, and probably won't contribute to helping you with the actual recovery with the funds.

The best thing you can do is to keep trying to negotiate with their support. You deserve your money. They'll probably resolve this in the end IMO because they have been a long running exchange and a proven one, and wouldn't want to destroy their reputation over half an Ethereum that probably doesn't matter to them anyways.

I can confirm from my end that the user above is telling the truth, when copying his deposit address into the ethereum block explorer I can see the incoming transaction of around 0.57 ETH hitting the account, and an outgoing transaction of 5 ETH or so a few days after by C-Cex.

C-cex has also indeed lowered their deposit limits to 0.1 ETH. Anyone can check this on the Ledger page.

The least they can do is to refund you with your funds in the value of BTC at the time. But I believe you should be refunded the full ETH amount. You really should have complained earlier about this regardless of the limit being lower because it's been more than half a year actually since the deposit was done.

You can change the password back, btw.

thank you for your help, as you also saw after this issue i have not used C-cex again! i dont like their attitude and or their ways so i simply dropped it at that point and if you look on the mining pool i still have a few dollars worth from then still waiting! lolololol

and it took them 3 months to reply to the open ticket and the ticket is still open as you can also see in the snapshots!

I don't know if this is just an isolated case but I'm pretty sure there are similar case that has not been reported. i DON'T LIKE CCEX reepresentative arrogance of not addressing the issue,they are running an exchange and an exchange must have a good support

I have been using C-Cex since early last year, with absolutely 0 issue. I have been dealing with altcoins that are much smaller in volume than Ethereum mainly on their website though, so i'm not sure how exactly Ethereum deposits work. Having a minimum of 1 Ethereum even when eth was below $100 was a bit of a stretch tbh.

If they aren't even bothered to respond then i'll be quitting their exchange to find a new one. There are just so many competitors out there that are equal to if not better than the service that you offer currently, C-Cex. It's better for you to respond and at least clear up the situation.

i understand your in a signature campaign  but please take time to read above and find all the links and verification needed. it doesn't take long to read pictures/snapshots and have the verification from others! so simply read ok?

it surely sucks to lose money like this but the only thing wrong you can accuse c-cex of is the fact that they didn't send you any emails. i have actually complained in a ticket a while ago about this. but you certainly can't call it a scam and open up a scam accusation topic, just because you forgot to update yourself.

and they change things a lot, for example this https://twitter.com/CryptoCurrEncyX/status/868516061687230465 nearly cost me a lot of money but it is my own duty to do some double, triple checks even before i deposit my money. i suggest following their twitter and also checking the wallets always and this is not just limited to c-cex, the same thing has happened with all other exchanges.
