So i've been thinking, supposely people around here have portofolios, and lots of coins. But let's be honest, it's quite difficult to regularly/daily check each and every coin for updates (there's a lot of them), and most importantly, to check for a hard fork/swap.Some around here have full-time jobs, and maybe they don't have that much free time. Whenever i see the words "Hard Fork" in a coin topic, i feel a slight pain in my stomach, thinking what consequences will follow, more precisely, like people missing a Hard Fork/Swap because they were busy, they had personal problems or they were just keeping the coins in cold storage without knowing what a Hard Fork/Swap is.
There's no need to give away any coin names, as i'm sure many of you around here are familiarized with the concept of Hard/Fork and stories about lost coins.
Now, the ideea is, to create some type of system, more specifically, a regularly updated list (maybe hosted somewhere), so that people won't miss any Hard Fork info/Swaps/Wallet updates, basically, any procedure or instruction that will avoid any catastrophic events, like losing your stash.
Now, there are many aspects and implications of this concept.
-Firstly, the list of Coins that have a Hard Fork/Swap planned should be created by some criterias Popularity/Rank/Quality. -So, in case there will be a Hard Fork happening, it would be recommended that the list should be updated by devs, and legit people that have the right to represent a Coin from the list.
So, i was thinking for example:
1.Coin A - Hard Fork happening on (insert date here) instructions here (link to ANN/specific message in the coin's topic) 2.Coin B - Hard Fork happening on (insert date here) update wallets 3.Coin C - Hard Fork happening on (insert date here) prepare for swap, instructions here (link)
I'm waiting for some opinions on this matter
