It was all over with that German blitzkrieg under 10 minutes. Lost out on my parlay and on portugal... small consolation that I hedged a modest sum on Germany. I don't see Chile repeating the giant-killing feat at the final... Germany's for sure to take out their big guns and go for the kill. Any decent line odds for this final?

The Germans were ruthless in attack and they destroyed the Mexicans with just 10 minutes of play, the Mexicans had some great chances as well but failed to utilize them and that brought their downfall. I am quite surprised to see the progress of this young german squad, they have done very well.

Congratulations to Germany that even without so many important players, is always a solid team.
 Today Germany dominated against the Mexico winning easily.

Despite only lowering the young players and many people who think that Germany does not respond to Fifa Confederations cup seriously, but Germany is still Germany, they are still one of the best in the world. I'm even sure Germany can be the champion this time. And this is a good capital for some world cup in the future.

Indeed, i'm not sure Chile can hold germany 90 minutes like they do to Portugal in the last match. I think Germany will win with many goals, but i hope Chile is not lose their hope and play with their best. I'm not sure this final will be the best final, but at least we need drama on this final lol.

Portugal vs Mexico will be comoeting for the bronze medal of FIFA Confederations Cup with both teams  failed to prove that tgey are good to be in the final they have now atleast show their best as bith of them showed some moteriel earlier and tgat made them want to go to the final in this tournament so I expect an open game here without pressure for both teams and a lot of goals. In the group finished 2-2 in the head to head meeting also Mexico have a very good offensive line but they are strungling with defense while Portugal propably have slightly better defense but at the end i expect to see bith of them scoring.

I agree with you. I expected a different posture from Portugal, a more aggressive one. They could have won that game if they pushed the game a little more. Germany brought their B team, but they are now in the Final, and they are still very strong, so I guess this one will go for Germany. If Portugal had reached final, then I think Portugal would win.

Without Ronaldo Mexico is clearly favored for me. Mexico was a bit unlucky in the game against Germany as they started badly in the game. After the fast 2-0 the game was difficult to win. But overall, I think Mexico is better than Portugal. The odds of @3.2 for a win of Mexico are also very attractive.

Portugal Confederations Cup dream came to an end in the saddest fashion with the heart breaking penalty shootout defeat against Chile in the semifinals, and will take on Mexico fighting for honor in the 3rd place match. Mexico is having big problems on their defense throughout the whole tournament, and I believe Portugal would surely expose the weak defending of Mexico and secure themselves with a 3rd place ranking, My bet would be on Portugal to win the match in full time.

Germany vs Chile. I think game will be similar to what we saw in group stay and both teams try to not risk. If we will see penalty shootout, it will be unpredictable. Last penalty shootouts for Chile in Copa America finals and semi final against Portugal was successful. But we all know that Germany almost never loose on penalties.

I do think Portugal will seek there revenge and Mexico will be the victim of their aggression as you put it.

Of course I am in favor for Chile win but that is a just a fantasy to think about when the German squad they are using are their young players and not even their top star experienced players.

My favorite team is Portugal because there are all its top players including Cr7, unlike Germany who have an experimental team

Yes, Chile has great motivation to win. The presence of senior players such as Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Gary Medel presents a team mentality that may not be owned by Germany. This factor is not just cover the weaknesses of Chile, which is less sharp in front of goal with only packed four goals in the tournament, but also can play a big role in the final. Maybe Chile will win the Fifa Confederations Cup, and yes, this seems to be interesting.

Without Cristiano Ronaldo Portugal will play well, they have to think they are in good shape without Ronaldo, at Euro Final they played most of the time without him, so that experience gears up to them. Mexico is also a good side, hopefully, this match is going to a competitive match like the group stage.
But I'm going to bet with Portugal tonight...
