Hope wallet finishes syncing by end of this year...

I think there's an alternative to sync it faster somewhere in this thread. Chillax.

Our pool has been updated to 2.0.0.0.

Sync has taken MANY days, and as such the pool has not been active until we reach the current block. We ALL need to be patient for this to happen as the network readjusts itself and stabilizes. Patience is all that is needed.

It seems our pool is uptodate now, and we will restart the daemon and Obsidian for mining once again.

http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/dnr/index.php?page=dashboard

We will be building the new pool hopefully next week on the new servers, as we seem to keep getting delayed with small issues for the new CWI-Pool System.

Great work Carsen,

Great, glad you are updated now too! Cool

Yes, for those still syncing or having to wait to long to sync, should grab and download the chaindata.zip rather than the bootstrap.dat and just extract it into your Denarius datadir just as you would the bootstrap.dat. (Do not remove your .conf or wallet.dat)

https://gitlab.com/denarius/chaindata/raw/master/chaindata.zip (You can run wget or curl to retrieve the zip and "unzip" to unzip it in the Denarius datadir)

It will only take a few minutes to download this/extract it and you will be synced up much much quicker. (Also ensure you delete previous bootstrap.dats and everything else except for your wallet.dat and denarius.conf if you have one)

Hi All ...

Just thought I would publish the latest stats for the pool daemon.

We are mining on there now to do a small test to push some hash through our pool and see how it runs for the next 48hours.

Code:
Version Protocol Version	Wallet Version	Peers	Status	Blocks	Accounts
v2.0.0.0 21213 60000 146 OK 609181 1

http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/dnr/index.php?page=dashboard

Good connections Smiley

In wallet trading could really make some difference for DNR.

At first i didn't read whole sentence and immediately start looking that trading button in my 2.0 wallet  Grin

I don't know the idea behind in-wallet trading. How to set bid/ask orders with other traders with built-in-wallet trading feature. It looks strange and might be complicated to expand from ideas to real applications.

Idea is that you close BID/ASK orders without middle man - exchanges.
Trade goes directly from your wallet to buyers wallet, without trading fees.

Will try it soon. it seems this is a good innovation. this new time I saw altcoin wallet had an exchange built in. can I ask can we send our btc from DNR wallet to another wallet? or is this facility only for trading only? I don't know yet because I have not tried to download it yet. still online using smartphone now

Thanks!

You can deposit via either BTC or DNR, it utilizes Cryptopia's private trading APIs (You can generate your API keys in your Cryptopia.co.nz account). Currently you can only withdraw DNR from within the wallet, I may add BTC withdrawals too.

I also updated https://denarius.host again to include some more statistics including the masternode list.

Hashbag wont be paying out those payments from the other day as it went off chain for some reason, enkayz got the daemon fixed and the pool back online, payments won't be made for those few hours though, due to them not being on the correct chain.

If you have been mining since late yesterday, you should be receiving payouts again now.

Finally, Cryptopia exchange has fixed their technical problems with most of the coins listed there. Hope that they will never let such terrible issues occur again over really long period of time. Those recent events related to Cryptopia have affected prices, daily trading volume of some coins and losing faith of the exchange's users.
Life is changing fastly, and if the Cryptopia exchange let those ones happen again, they will probably far further behind other ones. Let's take Poloniex as specific case.

This is sometimes what happens when you have most of the hashrate Wink

Enkayz is brilliant at getting this sorted. Hashrate should be distributed further as DNR get's more popular. As it seems only a few pools have the majority of miners, this can become a hiccup we see on a more regular basis. Miners have their choices and ultimately will decide where to mine, but they also must be educated as to the pitfalls of consolidating the hashrate into a couple pools.

Just added gettxout support and BIP65 support to Denarius, upped version to v2.0.2.0 and put out a pre-release available here:
https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/releases/tag/v2.0.2

It is also merged into our master branch now as well. This basically opens up support for Atomic Swaps on the BarterDEX by KMD/jl777.

Nope, a future release will be more than likely, but this one is not, but of course, recommended, if you stay on oldcode/old clients you will be unsupported really. It would be ideal for everyone to update to v2.0.2 if they can. I understand I have had a lot of updates recently, so I may just make one big mandatory one here in the future, but you should be on minimum v2.0.0.0 for PoS/Masternode payment improvements which is mandatory, v2.0.2.0 isn't but for gettxout support etc. you want the latest.
