DNR is based on modified NIST5, right?
Baikal just released updated firmware for Giant X10 that mine NIST5.
Denarius uses Tribus, which uses algos from the NIST5, but is not the same as the NIST5 algo. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

i synced wallet with this chain data folder, i backed up my wallet. After syncing, i can see my transactions, staking also show same coin counts, but my balance is showing zero? I am sure nothing happened to my wallet file and correct wallet file i am using considering same transaction history and staking tab coin counts. Anyone faced this or advise what is the solution. Anyone can help in this? I have wallet running since 12 hours now and it is synced since 12 hours, while i can see my transaction and staking. But balance is showing as zero. Also when i see stacking status icon, it says not stacking as coins are not mature, while i can see stacking tab showing good age for coins. |

weird behaving of my wallet, i sent some dnrs (last wallet version, synced) to cryptopia and the transaction was accepted-deducted and marked 0 confirmations in my wallet for a bunch of time and i was worried because it was stuck almost 1 hour in my list of transactions totally dead with the id of transaction not even recognized by the explorer.
first time i see it acting this way and i sent a major quantity to other side in the morning and it not lasted more than 15mins, the difference was the ID transaction was recognized by the explorer even with 0 confirmations and this other nop
anyway, commenting in case it happens to somebody, dont panic like me LOL

Whats wrong with the qt wallet, Last time I check it was sync with the chain and It never been closed but now when I checked it's out of sync. Last block (731460) since April 13.

Pretty much until we get the wallets fixed in the next update, yea it is annoying and lame, but temporary  we should have remedied a lot of issues in our next update including syncing speed and overall wallet lag. The next update will be mandatory. |

I recently saw this coin on my Coinomi wallet and began gathering it. Hope it's a good bet. Why does the dev have such low trust? (Just curiosity, don't want to incite falame on this thread).

It is coming very very soon, the update will be mandatory and old clients will be booted off at block 900k, so you will want to have the latest version v2.5 by then. You can view our progress and even test it out from our v2.5 branch on the github. Official release and announcement will be coming soon, probably later this week v2.5 does have syncing fixed thus far and a lot of other bugs worked out. The protocol for Denarius will change on block 900k, to only accept 25213 protocol nodes. |

Denarius update v2.5 will be coming soon and will be a mandatory update! @everyone will want to be updated before block 900k. This update should be coming later this week and will fix syncing times, overall wallet lag, and the removal of darksend, instantx, and litemode. This is a mandatory protocol upgrade of Denarius and all exchanges, pools, explorers, nodes, and wallets will need to update. Another announcement will come later this week with the release to update to. |

Yes it is, it is under review by btchip and their company  Also still waiting on Trezor PR to be reviewed... Wallet update will be incoming soon. We will also be more than likely adding native Tor support and libzerocoin to Denarius in the future. A Book on Denarius is coming soon as well to Amazon by Chris P. Thompson on our first year history. (Coming in two months roughly) |
