Im in the philippines too. Im not agreed to the same marriage and its not legal here in our country. And thats good because they consider our church laws in some ways. Not like in other country they accept same sex marriage.

This topic is very sensitive and I don't wanna butt in or put my nose in it, but for me, I wouldn't be supporting same sex marriage. It is just not meant for a guy to be married to a guy, as well as a lady to a lady, marriage is for a man and a woman, if you wanna marry someone with the same sex as you, then why not just be together, if you want the blessing of the church then I think its gonna be a long talk.

I think if it’s going to be civil wedding that would be fine. As we all know, most religions are against this idea for it defies the laws of nature and what is normal. I think lesbians and gay men should respect that as well. If they want to be get married, just simply have a civil wedding to avoid any hassles or repercussions.

However I hate when gays and lesbians are walking on the streets with their rainbow flags saying that their rights are broken. I have more doubts on lgbt adoptions tho, I'd like to see some scientific research, psychologists, ecc make a large study about it and the consequences on the kid.

For me, marriage is a solemn and sincere commitment with god and by your partner. So, its not a big deal even they are same sex or not. The most important thing is that you love each other and you know each other. At the end of the day, the main foundation of the family is not the marriage but the relationship through the years that keep you strong, happy, contented, and positive. It basically comes down to that, that people don't want to have homosexuality promoted everywhere, and not allowing same sex marriage is some sort of a small barrier to that promotion.

They can/should be able to do whatever the hell they want to, but not in Church, because you can't force someone to do what you want, everyone has free will, and if he doesn't want to do something, don't make him do it.

Exactly. What is the need for marriage? Unnatural sex relations can't be made legal by the government. Because if they do so then tomorrow some 60 year old pedophile will ask the permission to marry a 8 year old girl. He will also say that it is a part of his sexual orientation and we should respect it. The next day, it will be the turn of some pervert asking the permission to marry his pet dog.
