Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Depend on my family, when my family need some money, i will sell my coin from btc to idr (im use localbitcoins for sell it). But im not sell all i just take an half and sell that. And another half i use for trading. It seems good way to not sell all my coins.

I hoard if I need cash I use LBC or if I'm lazy there are guys on DarkNet I use only charge 10% above preeve cash to my door.

Holding them may give you more in the long run, but it really depends on how quickly you need the money.
