Still not convinced that August 1 will do something about the current trend in the market. Several bearish news over the past few months didn't stop the bullish trend that we have for bitcoin. If anything, it's just the traders taking advantage of weak hands to buy more and it happens every day, but the possible changes on the 1st of August? I don't see any major effect price wise.

Yeah you're correct that the patience is the key to success. You need to wait msny months or even years before you sell your coin. The long term investment is very powerful way and effective way to earn a btc.

Be careful before Hard Folk happening, if Bitcoin split to 2 network Blockchain is Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Unlimit and just one network can still running, maybe the price can fall down to $1xxx ! I think go to USDT or FIAT now is best choice for keep money safe

yes you are right everyone here in this forum is waiting for the high price of bitcoin but the price of bitcoin now a days are stick into either 2400$ and moving very slowly but i think crossing 2800$ is not required much time, it will take a week or two to reach 2800$, so no need to worry about the price fall it will soon recover its price.

Ya it is true that on August 1 their is segwit implemention and every one is worried on whether it will get success or not, just like ETH had done it and it was not success.

im really not sure what to expect .... if BTC goes under ~2250 it will go down to atleast 1800 if it goes above 2800-3000 it could skyrocket higher than the current alltime highe of 3005 or something like this but Segwit SHOULD pump the price because its a good thing for transactions fees but it needs to work...

That's what everyone is expecting to happen. When the price goes up, it will possibly break the barrier of $3,000. But I don't think we will gonna see the price back at $1,800 again though it is still possible that we'll see it there. As we go on positive news and articles that are coming out, more adoption will happen that will have a good effect.

This is the truth that it will not limited to 3000$ or less , but has no limit and according to the prediction by the most experienced persons that the price will be 10k$ at the end of the year 2020 , so I think it will soon reach to 5000$ minimum at the last of 2020 .
Here the currently drop in the price is the main reason of the hardfork , they are thinking that they will loss their money in the fork and Thier btc value will be decrease , so due to this reason they are selling , that is all panic selling .

If you want to do short term trading then it's a time to buy, if you're a long term holder then it's a time to buy, all in all, it's always a time to buy Bitcoins. The price will go up, may not be right now but definitely in the future. People just do panic selling without the knowledge of how Bitcoin works. Some are worried about segwit but IMO it'll be better after segwit.

Bitcoin is going to have tremendous growth in the coming years and yes price volatility will be there at any time point during the period.
