I don't mind too dumping back to $500, though, it will never happen. As you can see, even knowing the network split and the risk, users will still continue using bitcoin, they are being molded to be stronger with the challenges that they faced the previous years, nothing can make them scared now.

That's the nature of bitcoin market. There are ups and downs along the way. So we don't need to panic an just sell our stash. You should look at the long term of your investment. Because if you panic your investment will be gone just like that. So one must need to stay calm. That is why others are saying that if you have a heart problem don't invest in bitcoin because once you see the price plummet, you might get a heart attack.

You are talking for only long term bitcoin holders. ıf you don't need to sell your btc for long time then your theory or method is correct. You shouldn't touch your bitcoins for many years maybe 5-10 years.

But if you can afford to do see well provably its the best doing for you but for me I can't take to hold for much longer since I have some personal need that need to be care off so I would rather play to its flactuating movement and earn from doing some good trades with it so that I can earn more rather than staking for so long where we doesn't really know on what would be the outcome of our staking.

I think that even if bitcoin price falls down to 1500 dollars for a possible hard fork , soon after it will be back at even better levels than 3000 dollars. I think during this year or in the end of this year we can achieve 5000 dollars for a bitcoin and that is a good all times high for bitcoin within this year. I don't panic whatever happens to bitcoin as I am confident that it will get back to higher levels in the long term.

Yeah this is true because most of the newbies and people who are already from log ago in the Bitcoin selling Thier coin because of the down in the price .
But opposite of this they need to think that the Bitcoin price down is always a opportunity to buy Bitcoin at low rate and then sell at high rate .
Here I myself was also getting panic but after a long time experience I came to know that I don't need to get panic , and now after every down in the price I bought it without any more tension of loss .
Because this is the usual thing in the Bitcoin to get down and up in the price .
And now I started also buying more currently because of the reason of the legalisation of the Bitcoin in my country , recently government declare that it is safe to use but they will make some rules to regulate it .

Correct, there's nothing to worry about with bitcoin prices and no need to panic if bitcoin prices falls down because bitcoin is a decentralized currency that can go up and down at any time.

$500 is completely real. It could happen if the fork goes wrong and the community loses trust for example. And the OP isn't even saying that bitcoin will go down to $500, he is just using this as an arbitrary figure to prove his point.

I completely agree with him, as i believe that either way, whether bitcoin goes down or goes up, it's going to be a great deal for bitcoin holders. If bitcoin goes down, then you can buy some cheap coins without setting you back the same amount that it would right now. As we all know, bitcoin is quite a safe long term asset to hold, and if there was short term dips in price then everyone would rush to buy, and bitcoin will be driven up in price again. If it gets pumped further, then obviously bitcoin holders wealth will be able to go up dramatically. Either of these scenarios i would be happy with.

Miners opted to go the safe way and they will signal and activate SegWit2x. There won't be UASF anymore, very little can go wrong at this point.
We will have more than 80% support for SegWit2x and risk of splitting the chain will be mitigated.
So there won't be any complications, bitcoin won't reach $500 because of some technical difficulties.

In as much as we can be optimistic, this 500 dollar bitcoin price tag OP is looking forward to is never happening as everyday that goes by
more people get to know of bitcoins existence and benefits hence increasing demand.
OP might be correct we do not need to panic but right now we are in need of a fork to help break the resistance bitcoin is facing at the moment to restore our journey to the moon.

Fluctuations will always possible to happen all the time eversince  we are at lower bitcoin price at 1 btc ranging 900 to 1000 usd that time, and in fact speculations were there already last year 2016. So there is no reason for you to be afraid of price fall down and it's not your first time to encounter that low price l; we've been there already. You have to overcome panic decisions and have a strong foundation to stand in order maintain that principle of being a fearless btc holder.

Yeah come on, I mean $500 is a joke price for Bitcoin, it hasn't been that low for 13 months now!
People seem to have a short memory, looking at the charts, the price dipped below $500 in August 2016, that isn't long ago at all.

You also realise that $2600 is far far far closer to $500 than $100,000. You are talking about a 38x increase in price, compared to a fall to 1/5th the price.  If the price fell to $500, people would almost shrug and say that were in an obvious bubble, but now the price is back at a more normal level, if it rises to $100,000, then something crazy has happened in the world! The market cap would be $1.6trillion that is 10% of the GDP of the EU.

Any outcome is fine with me, if bitcoin goes up then the value of my coins goes up as well if the value of bitcoin goes down then I will buy even more bitcoin, it is a win win no matter what.

Even if it is a win win no matter what, it is still better if bitcoin will go up more for us to sell at a higher rate to rebuy again when it goes down. OP's prediction is somewhat ridiculous for now wow $100,000 per bitcoin? I hope we see that in our lifetime because I know it would really take a very long time before his/her speculation happens. For now let's enjoy every price movements of bitcoin.
