Second, several countries in the region are indeed chaotic. What they need though is not apathy and indifference, much less condemnation, especially from the developed countries. They need help. They need sympathy.
Third, you try to go there. It's beautiful. Why nuke a beautiful creation?

All the evil in the world is rather from the Middle East, its the home of terrorists and countries who financially support these kind of people, The Europeans have exploited Africa for its resources and now the Chinese are following suit. These exploiters are the originators of evil not the victim which is Africa itself.

Yes. The Arabian peninsula is the Pandora's box of the world. But I would disagree with you on the Chinese part. They are not exploiting the Africans. The Chinese-African relationship is mutually beneficial for both the parties.

The Catholic Church more like tried to convert them. Most of the deaths are from skirmishes with settlers, which don't always operate religiously. And many also died from the flu.

The original intention may have been to convert them to Catholicism. But in order to achieve that, the free roaming natives were rounded up in mission settlements, where a lot of them died of hard labour, exhaustion, starvation and epidemics. Also, those who refused to convert were branded as cannibals and sold as slaves.

Sadly, that's how things turned out. Europeans at the time of exploration haven't been that humanist yet. They see a semi-nomadic lifestyle as very primitive. Quite funny that despite racism back then, they still saw the natives as souls that have to saved from hell and so should be converted.

Despite what you see in the news about China leading in green tech, they still have lax industry controls, leading to soil and waterways poisoned with heavy metals and the infamous smog. I suppose regulations in Africa would be much laxer.

So now we care only about natural resources, and not about people living in Africa at all?
Exploitation of Africa will gonna soon end, probably we have less than a century before every natural resource in Africa will be gone.
There won't be Coltan in Congo, there won't be Gold or Diamonds in the Republic of South Africa.
And climate will change to the point that growing any crops in Africa will be impossible.

China and green tech? To me they are diagonally opposite to each other. It is not just the major cities such as Shanghai and Shenzhen. Go to any village in Southern China and you will be horrified at the levels of industrial pollution. I just hope that they will not implement the same methodology in Africa and destroy that continent as well.

I will never support mass murder of the African children, no matter whatever excuse is given. But that said, I think that it is necessary to popularize family planning in Africa. That continent is getting over-populated with every passing day, and considering that the amount of available arable land is quite small, this must be recognized as a major issue.
