Hey Guys..

New to coins but getting some decent investments going and plan to be active here.

My coins are in poloniex but I wanted to get them into a wallet.

I have ETH, SIA, XRP, STRAT.

What's the best / safest way to store them?  I heard cold storage wallets.

What do you guys recommend?

Thanks!

If you consider web wallet then 'BIT. AC' is good wallet to store all the coins at one place. Wallet has internal exchange service too so its all good.
While you can consider 'MyEtherWallet' for Ethereum. It has facility to generate private keys.
As regarding cold storage, there is none in my knowledge. It would be better to know from others.

I don't advice Bit.ac specially after the recent complaints about them, users couldnt even access their account. Not to say you don't have private keys, not to say this site is very very young. Specially since you say, you have decent investments

The Ledger Nano S is a hardware wallet that can hold your ETH, XRP and STRAT.

It's not good to use bit.ac wallet for the storage of altcoins. In my view it has been providing with easy interface, but the fee they levy on transactions is very big for smaller transaction and it too doesn't have the manual fee setting option. We're forced to go with the fee placed automatically.

I was looking into this one.

It says doesn't ship til September.  Have you used it?

What concerns should I be looking out for?

Getting hacked?

Redundancy?

Thanks!!

Bit.ac, which is mentioned above, isn't a good wallet, there are many complaints about this service.
You're right, cold storage is a safest place to keep coins. Hardware wallet can be a good option, but currently there are no wallet which would support all your mentioned coins.
Another safe place to keep coins - download official wallet of coin, where you will have full control of coins.
There are also some multi-coins wallets, like Exodus or Coinomi, but again, they only support part of your mentioned coins.

Was looking at exodus.  Couldn't they steal them too since it's a web based app?
