The thing to remember with AICoin is that none of the bitcoins are paid to the development team. The software is already fully developed.

All the bitcoins exchanged for AICoins remain owned by the Collective group of AICoin holders for trading and investment purposes. The exchange rate makes no difference.

If we set the exchange rate between bitcoin and AICoin to 0.0001 that would simply mean you would receive 100 times more AICoin for your bitcoin and the assets underlying that AICoin would be 100 times less.

The benefit we have is that all the AI modeling software and trading infrastructure is already in place and developed so no funds will be withdrawn to pay for development costs.

The only cost that will be withdrawn from the bitcoins exchanged for AICoins is a 4 BTC charge for the formation of the legal infrastructure for operation. 100% of the remaining bitcoin will be used for trading by the AI models to generate further assets for the AICoin holders.

These new profits will then be pushed into the Trading pool to generate further profits (40% of new profit), pushed into an Investment Pool for AICoin token holders to select promising new investments in the fields of Artificial Intelligence or Public Blockchain (50% of new profit).

The remaining 10% of the new profit is paid to the developers for ongoing development of the AI trading models. By following this model the developers only benefit when the AICoin token holders are making profits.

You got a point, it's just an exchange rate but it may be psychologicall barrier for some to buy coin for such price in ICO.
