Well if you read the first page carefully, you already found your answer. It's stated that those tokens (gold,bronze,silver) are strict/exclusive on the platform. Means it only can be used on their platform, can't be transferred outside the platform.
The one who transferable and will be able to be listed on the exchanges is they ETH tokens called signal tokens (SIGS).

Wow, these are some big changes! Especially regarding Signal tokens. I need more details, but it looks like Sigs will be universal attention token to be used on all social platforms. I have to say this is bold decision, but can be a dealbreaker for potential investors. I only wonder how the tipping system without specs will be adjusted now. Can't wait for new whitepaper and bounty campaign. It's just getting better

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST

First Announcement: New Timeline

November 3rd: Launch private Pre-Sale

December 8th: Launch public Token Sale

We have had several discussions with our crypto consulting company, Sutton Stone, and we have setup a new timeline which will allow us the necessary time to prepare for the crowdsale. We previously mentioned that we were hoping to launch our pre-sale in late September, but that will not be possible. We have to ensure that everything is setup properly with all the correct documentation. Our new timeline is as follows:

August-Mid September:

• Prepare legal structuring of the token sale, Spectiv, and the new Signal Token protocol
• Prepare necessary documentation: whitepaper, token protocol, general business overview, KYC, AML, etc...
• Continue Spectiv platform development for the demo and Alpha versions

September-October:

• Apply for Token sale regulation in the country of Mauritius (Ethereum Blockchain Hub).

• Work on acquiring partnerships with fellow crypto and VR companies

Please keep in mind that this timeline is required in order for our crowdsale to be legally complaint in all ways possible. We are working as fast as we can on our side to launch the token sale asap, but we will not compromise the legality of the token sale to do that. We hope that this assures interested participants that we are very serious about launching a legitimate token sale!

Second Announcement: Spectiv Demo

We will be releasing the platform demo for public use at the end of this week. The demo will allow users to watch 360 videos from our partnered content creators, interact with the Spectiv video interface, and enjoy mobile VR through any mobile VR headset.

We will begin work on the Alpha version of the platform next week, an we are expecting 2-3 months of development until it is released. The Alpha platform will allow all users to create accounts, allow creators to upload videos, and allow curators to share content. The token system will not be integrated into the Alpha until after the token is released following the token crowdsale.

Third Announcement: Signal Token Protocol

After consulting with Sutton Stone, we have evaluated our current token system and will be making some significant changes. The biggest change is that we will be consolidating our dual token system of Specs & Signal Tokens into a single token system which only includes Signal Tokens. Signal Tokens will not only be a curation token, but now will also operate as the currency of the platform. We are making this change to further validate our token protocol, and open it up to potentially be used on other media based platforms. We are currently working to create a token infrastructure which can seamlessly be used on platforms such as Twitch or Youtube. We are working to revolutionize the way that media based attention markets interact with their users.

This update to our token system should instill confidence in members that are interested in the Signal Token crowdsale because it adds a new layer of validity and value to our token protocol. The token system we are working to create will have huge possibilities in the future, and the Spectiv platform will be the first use case to demonstrate its value.

Fourth Announcement: Bounty Implications

We have ultimately decided to push our public token sale back until December 8th in order to achieve the best token protocol possible, and to handle the legal structuring of our token sale (Full Announcement: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1975254.msg20704032#msg20704032). Due to this delay, we will be pausing the Bounty Campaign until October 20th.

Between now and October 20th, any signature campaign members are free to switch their signature to another campaign. When we relaunch our bounty on October 20th, you will be able to rejoin the signature campaign anytime between October 20th and the closing of the bounty campaign after the token sale.

All stakes that have been earned by bounty participants so far are still valid and will be counted at the end of the bounty campaign in December. Bounty participants are still required to achieve the rules of the bounty they are participating in, for example, signature campaign members are still expected to have at least 50 posts by the end of the bounty campaign.

As we mentioned before, we will be increasing the bounty rewards, but we have decided to increase from 2%-3%. We made this decision because although the campaign will be long, we are shortening it by pausing the bounty for the next 2 months. We still want to reward all our loyal bounty members though, so this is why we still decided to increase the bounty!

Thank you everyone for the all work you have done so far, and our one of top goals is that you all get rewarded! Starting this week, stakes will not be counted for any bounty campaign until we reactivate the bounty on October 20th. Interesting, but not surprising, that the initial responses to your announcement are all bounty scavenge..... sorry, hunters.  

Anyway.

I'll chip in with something more relevant to the project itself.

This part of the announcement makes most sense in relation to the video interview I watched the other week.

1) It confirms one key point which I seemed to be picking up, but no-one else was.

2) BUT .... it also contradicts one of the key points of the entire model.

I'll address 2) first as it's a simpler question.

The SPEC token (now defunct by the sound of it) was never a crypto token. Your rationale behind this being that it was for micro-tipping and thus need to be stable and "small scale" (for want of a better description). Removing it from the equation is a considerable change to the model you were proposing around tipping and how it generates income. Are you doing a simple swap here? So SPEC tipping is replaced by SIG tipping? But the stability element around buying that is now gone? There was also flipping between the two mentioned at a couple of points, is that no longer the case? Will it be tip direct with SIG or covert to SPEC first? Or deal in small fractions? Tips seemed to be a revenue stream for content creators. Ads were the only other income stream I was aware of for them. So how does the system work now? Big chunks of the current white paper are gonna need a re-write here ....

And the biggie (for me) is point 1) ....

What you're basically saying here is the token, the bit people will be buying, is not dependent on VR. This was mentioned in the video interview, and seemed like a pretty damned major point to me! But no-one else was mentioning it?!?!? (too worried about their bounties?)

This is a MAJOR point. Why? Because you will be using a LOT of the funds you get to build a platform for VR video. To take on YouTube. In the mobile market. It will cost a lot to build. A lot to maintain. Has huge bandwidth and/or storage requirements.

And yet ......

None of this is actually needed for the token itself.

It could just as equally be applied to any other, established, platform. As you are now confirming.

So, anyone investing is taking a HUGE risk as VR is such an emergent/new/small/niche (all are applicable currently and who knows how long it will stay that way) market. That risk would be reduced massively by simply focussing on producing an attention token. Which is what you are actually doing. In crypto terms. There is nothing really decentralised about the VR part. Seems like a lot of unwarranted spending and risk to me ....

Why is it "excellent" in your eyes? Did you understand the reasoning behind having the second, non-crypto one, in the first place?!?!

Merging them, with the current white paper model, raises more questions than it answers....

IMO It's not merging, SPECs are ditched. Now it looks like we have one attention token (SIG), that will be somewhat universal and usable on all social platforms. At least that is how I see it form this description. There is a market for that kind of token (plus other projects already trying to do that so there will be competition). You are right about no connection to VR, but it could be advantage after all (as You said, VR is small niche atm). We don't know if the tipping system will work on SIGs yet (but is there another soultion now?). TBH I need more details to make an assessment if this design is better.

BTW Current whitepaper is outdated in almost all aspects. So let's wait for the new one to see what is the plan.
