i payed today 0.00075 - 1.5 euro for transaction, and got my coins within 10-20 mins
oo really its so amazing to see users like you .as much as bitcoin is being commend the transaction fees is being applied accordingly as the bitcoin demand is being so high and now using in several areas of the world with high so as load of users is increasing the transaction is increasing to overcome and to avoid the problems.

I just withdrew my signature earnings from YoBit, and I paid a fee of BTC0.0015, which is equivalent to some $3.75 (YoBit paid BTC0.0011594 for the transaction). Even Paypal doesn't have these sort of insane fees. I am feeling really angry at the miners now. If they don't want SegWit, then let them come up with some other solution. But this can't go on like this for ever.
Make sure if you have blamed the right person. The fees are depending on the network status. The more transaction in mempool will make too many transactions in queue gets stuck. Or bloat the bitcoin network. The only way to resolve it through the scaling agreement which will be activated in August as far as I know.

At least it must be driven for success.

It's not that he did something unbelievable.... If your transaction byte size is more or less in the range of a generally normal transaction (i.e. 226 bytes), and include a fee that is slightly under/over the recommended fee, then miners will likely include it in the next block, or the block after that. If you're lucky, then 1 or 2 blocks may come through with just a few minutes apart -- there you have your quick confirmation(s).

As the newbies said at the top you need to customise your own fee settings. Plus don't use any wallet that limits these. I personally use Electrum and I would recommend it. And nest time, remember to check this website: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

This will show the most economical and fastest transaction rate at that time. Right now that sits at 330 satoshis/byte.

confirmation is only 1 hour is fast so you have to add the amount of fee. if you don't want it there's customize option or you don't choose regular in form transactiekosten choose a lowers although it will take longer for the estimated confirmation. maybe for transactions it would be better to choose altcoin like eth or doge and you have to use multi wallet like coinbase to send eth.

Actually you can pay less fee on your transaction and takes a little more time to get confirmed. To get confirmed on blockchain is already quite fast than a few weeks ago. I really recommend to customize fee for every transaction you do.

Sorry but this is not cheap. Just imagine doing this on a daily basis. You will be essentially losing money on ridiculously inflated fees. Sometimes Bitcoin fanboism is just not healthy at all  Grin

Anything to do to aviod this?
I will turn my back to Bitcoin if this shit is going on like this.
You could have go for customize fees in block chain wallet or if you are using exchange wallets then some are not giving ability to customize the fees then we will really stuck .Because of this lots of altcoins doing really good move .

It might be cheap for you but for those who living in 3rd country 5 dollars for a fee it's extremely expensive, it's not a problem if we send lot of bitcoins with that fee but for small transaction it is a problem. Well for now i think bitcoin isn't suited for small transaction.

Exactly, personally i'm using dogecoin for trading activity, sending my bitcoin from bittrex to poloniex or vice versa in order to avoid the bitcoin fee, it only costs 2 doges on bittrex and 5 doges on poloniex which is exteremly cheap. The problem is this method only works on exchanger or wallet which support multicurrency.

Dude you are crying over $8? I have paid more than 8$ for a 10$ transaction that is actually ridiculous because I need that money real fast, So, I put that high fee. We hope that miners stop doing that shit and start accepting transactions with a low fee.
If for you that is not a lot of money cool, but for a lot of people 8 dollars is a lot of money, especially if you live in a third world country, 8 dollars can be as much as a few days of payment to some, and lets be honest, even if you can pay such transactions, who does not like to get the same service for a cheaper fee, so to me it makes sense the op is not happy about the situation.
