Active poloniex user here. No problems depositing and withdrawing on my end.

Using the same bitcoin address to send and receive ever since the beginning. My guess is their system detected suspicious activity from your account.

No problems here. I made a 2 btc withdrawal yesterday and another one today. Both arrived at the intended address quickly.

I think some people are actively trying to spread panic about Poloniex. For those who genuinely are waiting for their withdrawals, you should enable 2fa, i've heard the mods say that it speeds up withdrawals(fewer withdrawals have to be looked into manually with 2fa enabled).

2fa is on... and I posted in a different topic a link to jpeg -

Today I tried another withdrawal - and you can guess what happened

Iv'e been around to see several exchanges collapsing, and it usually starts like this - No one to talk to, cant get your money out of the exchange.
I hope its a false alarm. but just be-aware (or if you can withdraw to a different exchange- do that while you can)

this is happening when you are using an ILLEGAL exchanger, without a financial license ...

FINCEN registration means NOTHING. It's just a shit. You can register yourself NOW.

Poloniex is incorporated in USA and according to FINCEN, Polo must be registered as MSB in each state they are operating. Guess what?! They are not. Smiley

USE only exchangers who have one, like Gemini,Bitstamp, Circle, Coinbase, Itbit.

The former operator of the now-defunct bitcoin exchange Coin.mx has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison.
The sentencing of Anthony Murgio comes months after he plead guilty to operating an unlicensed money transmission business in January.

Poloniex, Kraken and MANY others are doing the same. It's just a matter of them until they will be closed.

Never used Poloniex as I have just got into Crypto. Not looking great from what I read here.
Just signed up with Kraken and already having problems.
I am waiting for the Blocknet Decentralized exchange (wallet to wallet of like 8 currencies right now) to launch next month.  Then I wont have deal with a middleman exchanges and will have full control.  Doing crypto in UK is hard man. Uk banks shutting accounts.

I do not know what some people what to gain by trying to destroy other people business, poloniex is a good exchange at least to the best of my knowledge; bad people only carry rumor without verifying.

I withdrew funds from poloniex yesterday and it was transferred and confirmed as fast as possible;

Proof - https://blockchain.info/tx/78678067a9a440d53d3f394c0534d594d7e5ddaf361dfb574af740144bbf562c

Argument about more than 0.2 btc withdrawal stuck - https://blockchain.info/address/17A16QmavnUfCW11DAApiJxp7ARnxN5pGX

Stop spreading bad rumor.

if things went good with you that doesn't make other people liars , you can't ignore other people's problems
just open poloniex twitter and check how people are replying to their tweers , people are losing money and they aren't spreading bad rumors
me personally my account has been locked since May 1st , and once I requested my withdrawal their support stopped responding to me
I have over 3K USD stuck at their site for almost two months now

It seems Poloniex is gone as most of people aren't able to withdrawal their funds.
Once one make a withdrawal it will be sent to "Awaiting Approval" and there stays forever.
you will find in Twitter, facebook, forums, etc that people are awaiting over 20-30 days without any answer from the support team.

Some say who has high limits account (verified) aren't having problems but I can't confirm that.
Pennies withdrawal also might go through however anything above 0.1-0.2 BTC will be stuck in the "Awaiting Approval"

Do you do Poloniex?? Then go ahead and try withdrawal 0.2 BTC to find out.

Good luck.

IDEM 0,026 BTC .... 48 hour but not whitdrawal

withdrawal   Complete    !!!!!   BTC    0.02178423     10 days

oh really !! so now we can't take newbies seriously at all ??
btw I'm Legendary and I have a problem with poloniex , I requested my withdrawal over 45 days and they haven't paid me a satoshi
so if you are lucky enough to have a good experience with them that doesn't make poloniex a good site , just check their twitter and see how many people are complaining

oh damn, i've seen you complain about poloniex and their customer support ignoring you for like 1 and a half months now, you still haven't received any coin nor communication from them? Thought that all this time was plenty for poloniex to sort themselves out but apparently not.

The biggest alarm bell to me is the fact that they have removed their trollbox. it was one of the integral parts of their community and now they've just removed it. This is just further proof that they want to censor free discussion of their service, because they know that they are scamming selectively.

Some people are able to withdraw as usual, others are not. IT's not worth the risk! Use bittrex.

nope haven't heard a word from them , not sure if they will ever pay me my money
what's killing me that they processed some tickets that are newer but they are ignoring my ticket even it doesn't take them time to solve , all they have to do is process a withdrawal

I'm trying to reach the community here and sharing my experience with them , Poloniex isn't worth the risk anymore

when they pay me I will update my thread and the other threads

I do not know why some people have problems with withdraw I never  have  such a problem perhaps is the size of the sum which they want withdraw  to  to me are all transactions carried out within 30 minutes, the fastest transfer BTC has just from poloniex.
My biggest transaction was 0.1 BTC but it has been quite a while ago now I mostly withdraw to 0.01BTC

My account just got upgraded to the 2nd Level after sending in a support ticket and them having to manually accept it (system verification failed).

My withdrawal on the other hand is not working either. It might not be a problem on their end because I haven't received the withdrawal confirmation e-mail and it could be blocked by my provider (hotmail). The problem is that I'm sending the funds to an exchange and the offer is only valid for 30 minutes (btcdirect). So if I send it 10 days from now that would be dumb. I don't want to send it to my wallet and then to the exchange but I guess I'll have to do that if I ever want to see it through.

Could be better.
