Yes, it is estimated to be 19.3M and will rise after 110 blocks are solved from now.
Current block: http://blockexplorer.com/q/getblockcount
Block when difficulty will rise: http://blockexplorer.com/q/nextretarget
Next diffuculty estimate: http://blockexplorer.com/q/estimate

Or you can see it in graphs at my webpage: http://btc.marki-online.net/

Sobering.  The acceleration in magnitude of difficulty increase every couple of weeks indicates that it won't be long until a 1 Th/s worker will earn around 0.01 BTC per block found by the pool.

Pool luck (1 day, 7 days, 30 days):   67%, 90%, 97%  Huh

Still low this morning:
Pool luck (1 day, 7 days, 30 days):   71%, 90%, 97%

And it will never compensate in the future, as the difficulty is to rise significantly again this evening... :-(
Pool luck (1 day, 7 days, 30 days):   72%, 89%, 96%
Still miserable in the evening...
And the difficulty is going to jump more than 23 % in ~3 hours...

This is insane. Even before the rise found blocks have been taking crazy long... 3h, 5h, 4h, 2h, 4h..... such BS lately.... Seriously becoming pointless to mine btc  Undecided

btc was designed to increase in value but its looking like the design is backfiring....

Long round duration is due to low pool luck... Even 70 % now:
Pool luck (1 day, 7 days, 30 days):   70%, 89%, 96%
[edit: Sure it depends on pool hashrate also, but this is quite high now.]
Block times for the whole network look OK.

Are there any data for the whole "network luck"? I'm afraid those can't be obtained easily, because the whole network hashrate is calculated from found blocks, thus supposing "network luck" equal to 100 %. This way, one can't differentiate between hashrate changes and luck changes.
Or am I wrong?

Btc price will drop ltc price will increase as i see it, then the massive asic farms will start selling cheap and btc will make a slight come back. The farms are basiclly holding btc hostage and dont realise that new people wont be buying in keeping the value what it is anymore

well, difficulty is certainly not going down, and as asics are useless for anything else- there's no future for anything but asics to mine btc, which by that time is made either worthless or very stable, but hard to get.

Yikes, down to 57% luck on the day.

Well, I'm hoping for the best with Slush's after the difficulty bump. Maybe our luck will turn around.

I was thinking/hoping the same thing.

This time last month we seen an even worse low at 51%

on a positive note, early June seen us at 155% (and the difficulty had increased)

Hi Guys!

Just a quick question here, when the reward crosses the payment threshold, is the payment sent immediately?
Or is there a certain time once a day when all the payments are processed?

Thanks!

There's a short delay but is usually processed within about an hour...

On way of looking at it is that luck for the whole network is 100% all the time -- I mean, the network always finds a block.  Another way of looking at it is whether the network is finding blocks in less than 10 minutes average per block (>100%), at 10 minutes average (100%), or longer than 10 minutes average (<100%), but then difficulty changes are used to keep the average as close to 10 minutes as possible.

Reaper is the only mining software working with my hardware, so I'm limited with what I can use with LTC (reaper, cgminer, bfgminer, none works for me on LTC mining).

Does it mean you have some special hardware?
Is the content in parentheses to be understood in the sense that reaper works for you and the following two programs do not?

I guess it's special.  My 6950 (modded to 6970) seems to have problems with other miners except for reaper with BTC.  However, NOTHING (including reaper) works with LTC mining.

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

maybe you have not enough ram for scrypt mining?
