Please restart your miners; DNS changed again and some miners don't resolve them once again during operation.

Tried shutting down and then restarting guiminer...
tried rebooting the computer...
still getting  "Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC"

User bars aren't a problem; problem is that pool is calculating hashrate using current round only, which is insanely inaccurate on round start. So I need to rework hashrate calculations to make userbars useful...

Although attack seems to be gone, there are still some minor issues making connection less stable, which will be here for few hours.

However this should not affect mining hashrate so much, at least with miner which support long polling and NTime rolling (poclbm, GUIMiner with poclbm core, cgminer). Thanks to this, mining isn't stopped on share submitting latency.

so where should I point my miners?

cant connect with: api3.bitcoin.cz:8332, api.bitcoin.cz:8331, or api.bitcoin.cz:8332

all fail to connect, and cgminer keeps trying them as its the primary pool with no luck.

I may be on another IP than before the attack; Im on 3G wireless internet (USB modem). it changes IPs every 24 hours I believe. could that be the problem?

Ive restarted the miners many times in the last few hours to no avail.

I cant get to your website either.

I'm in the same boat.  Was able to connect on and off earlier.  But now I am just getting continual connection errors.

I'm mining on api2.bitcoin.cz:8332 more than 2 hours now.

pointed a miner at that just now. no joy. all three of my rigs now point to a different one of slushs addys with no connection Sad

cgminer is configured with 4 pools (slush primary, others as failovers) and is mining elsewhere at the moment but slush is my favorite. sigh. ah well at least cgminer will keep trying slush.

sooner or later these ddos idiots will tire and we can all relax again.

It is getting even more strange! For me, everything always worked fine untill the ddos happened. Now, after it, I have the following situation:

I have two computers, although they use different hardware, they use the same windows version, same updates, same software, go through the same router and internet-connection.

One of them, which uses poclbm, is connecting and mining fine, the other, also using poclbm, won't connect, even if I use the worker-details of the other computer.

13.10.2011
Site was under heavy DDoS attack, but now is recovering to normal. IP whitelisting is in progress, so if you cannot connect, please report to info@bitcoin.cz.

ayeeeee... I moved my butt over to NMCbit.com where merged mining is fully operational and reporting very nicely. Probably permantly, as for me atleast it is the lowest stale rate I have had from any pool.

Ot atleast until this pool can connect normally and shows some more NMC info. ;p

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system. - GA

mining.bitcoin.cz is down

Some language I don't understand.  Google translate says it's Russian:

Данный домен в настоящее время заблокирован по финансовым причинам
"Client blocked due to financial reasons"

This must be the new ddos prevention system. But now I can't access the site, or stats.

I'm not the only one who sees the irony of an anti-DDOS provider causing the same effects as a DDOS, am I?  Tongue

EDIT: It appears to be resolved now.
