CAn someone explain what happened with Block 305317?  It looks like something is wrong with the reward...almost 10% of what might be expected.

The 10% could be extra hash pwr by others, some of your equipment is not working, you had some stale shares, your equipment threw lots of hw faults over the last 13hrs.

Mine is a little up on what has been happening lately

Is something not right when there are no blocks to be validated on the statistics page? My last block was 305317. It's just something I've never seen in my 2 weeks of mining.

I have for some time experienced considerable fluctuations in my hash rate at various times of the day, but with a downward trend.  This has often also affected my hash rate with BTC Guild: both have been dropping by as much as 50%, and never quite getting back to their original level.  But an interesting thing happened a couple of days ago:  I watched a one hour TV programme through my internet player, something I never normally do.  After a few pauses for buffering, the programme got into its stride and did not falter again.  Then I noticed that my hash rate on Slush and BTC Guild had both increased to the rate I used to enjoy, despite it being a busy time of day, and they have not fallen since.  The only conclusion I can reach is that my ISP had been throttling my bandwidth but then had to increase it to allow the TV programme to play.  Or perhaps I'm just becoming paranoid.  Anyway, it appears to have remained high some 36 hours after the event.  Perhaps I need to become a couch potato.

Quick question, is 100 Mhash/s good? I'm using a GTX 670 as the GPU, and I've gathered that they are much worse than AMD for hash rates, but I still seem to be getting a tiny estimated reward of around 0.00000050 BTC even after several hours of constantly mining the same block (it's been going for nearly 6 hours now, whereas I started mining about 3 ago).

You can use the calculator link provided earlier. But, for a real world example, I have 8 S1 AntMiners overclocked with each pumping out about 200 Ghash/s or 1.6 Thash/s in all. For the 1.8 Thashes/s I average about BTC0.07/day. With threshold set at BTC0.1 I get a payout every 1.5 days. My electricity cost is about $9/day so I'm still making money at current difficulty and BTC value.

Hot time, summer in the city, back of my mine getting hot & gritty!!!

66tbird, same here and nothing wrong as we are 16+ hours deep in trying to solve a block.

It just means all the previous blocks have been confirmed in the last 16+hrs the current block has bean churning away

Strictly, it's the current round, not the current block.  Many blocks have been solved in the last 16+ hours, just not by anyone in this pool.  When someone, somewhere, solves a block we all start working on the next, and all within the current round, which ends only when somebody in this pool solves a block.

Sorry if it's been asked before, but are there any plans to change the minimum withdrawl amount to something like 0.001 BTC? As a small miner it takes months to achieve 0.01 BTC with a small hashrate.

I've been over my confirmed min payout threshold for about 6 hours and no payout. Has anyone else noticed slow payout or a problem?

highly doubtful it was lower once upon a time but times changed.. when they forced the payment on tx's under .01 it wasn't worth operators
to pay smaller than that out.

Nope, just block erupters.  Grin

They don't do much anymore, but paired with a Raspberry Pi don't take more than ~12W for 2.2GH/s.

Damn. That's a lot electricity for only 2.2gh/s
