Unfortunately, I will no longer have to mine this coin. I have 150 mh on the GCPOOL, but I have very few coins. And the last block was found more than 10 hours ago. My wallet does not sync.

This is the problem with keeping coins alive. As the diff increases, need to maintain the interest. I do understand your point, which is why I've been renting some hash in order to keep the network going whilst working on solutions such as having the coin added to Prohash. I don't want this coin to die.

I'd request you don't pull out yet (if you do, to be frank, it's part of the problem, others see this and the selling begins, look on Yobit), and at least wait a few more days for the network to get going, but of course I cannot force you to stay in Smiley Have predicted this though hence taking steps to try and offset the effects.

Network running smoother now (without any additional rented hash) - diff has come down.

Diff changed of course after a few blocks so rented hash now applying pressure to the blockchain to resolve those blocks. 1.25GH/s to be precise. This will run for the duration of the afternoon.

Could someone shortly explain the business model?

I understand that people are writing reviews, including their wallet, which will generate publicity for the coin and drive up the value. But is there another business model behind it? Is the intend to start selling "a pool of reviewers" to platforms like TripAdvisor?

Or is it expected that the developers are paid with newly created coins that increase in value?

The developers of what? The coin? We're not getting paid for this per se. We've taken some of the premine but that's been used to fund the wallet development. We've paid SOCC for that, showing good faith by the iOS/Android dev (not my skill set). But we're not taking funds from SOCC ourselves, not the way you're suggesting anyway?

As for the business model, yes the Amazon Hall of Fame of reviewers is something I am aware of for example, but I don't want to go down the road of proactively paying for reviews. SocialCoin is a reactive function - paying for something which has already been written. In time of course, the quality may be driven up through the promise of obtaining coin, but we're well into the future most probably...

This should be fine now given the blockchain activity overnight.

consider cryptopia, they have reduced their price by 1000% (only 1 BTC) or ask for donation to get listed, it will lift the volume a lot

I was aware that they'd reduced the cost of a listing, but not that they'd changed also to a donation model. Will have a look.

Bought some. It seems volume is going up nicely. This could blow up if added to cryptopia
