Can't post in alt. currencies so here is my input about YAC mining:

I'm mining for a few hours on four rigs, 3 of them are Win7, 1 is Ubuntu. Windows rigs produce almost nothing (client was downloaded from https://mega.co.nz/#!UowEmZYS!AAK7DVwYoTqy96oTRzUaLCS0UMsAfosJiRQmBn1jzcA), linux client on the other hand (compiled by myself from github sources) mines beautifully. May be just a coincidence though.

Oh, and about 8 connections max. Port triggering for port 7688 must be enabled in your router settings.

Someone please repost this in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=196196.1820
Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

I noticed this as well, had a single core Ubuntu server outperform my i7.
