Do you name your Mining Rigs ?

OP: yes, originally was MBname_00#, but is evolving to Rig00#.

My computer parts arrive tomorrow and I will be building my first rig. Very excited.

I name my mining machines based on the primary GPU cards in them, as most of them are built on 1 of 2 MB/CPU/RAM/PS platforms (HDs vary a bit more).

 2x1080x1, 3x1070x3, and such.

 I might be changing that though, as I get my current infrastructure built up, to a "location-based" scheme, like R1S1 (Row 1 Shelf 1) - but haven't decided yet for sure.



 7 of 9 (Jeri Ryan?) was seriously topheavy for my preference, Denise Crosby (forget her char name) IMO was much nicer built.

I named my first Ishimura. My other ones are just enumerated for ease of admin.

yeah i name them rig 1 2 3 etc... simple than that there is not, you can just name them 1 2 3 etc, even simple but boring maybe, if you don't name them i get confused if i need to solo and put a wallet in one of them, they all look the same

No, since here I have only a desktop PC with only three GPUs and I don't see why to name the mining hardware, but if there are many rigs, naming them makes sense for monitoring and management purposes.
