Bitcoin is greatest of all today and it will be in future as well. The Ethereum was made after it and on the basis of blockhain technology.  The technology is very much liable with bitcoin only. Ethereum seems to be having lots of cons in the technology and it will never be able to replace bitcoin in any time. Im not saying this just because I love bitcoin but I'm pulling out the comparison here between these two and my pros are mostly on the side of bitcoin. FYI: Ethereum lacks the mining base as well as customer base too.

Ethereum is a smart contracts platform and a token, while Bitcoin is an electronic P2P cash system.
They are different things and do not compete with each other.

No I don't see ETH will beat bitcoin, bitcoin is a strong and the pioneer of crypto currencies, it has a solid implementation in many sectors compare to ETH and I don't see ETH near bitcoin yet, so I don't see any reason why ETH can beat down bitcoin, the one that I see is both bitcoin and ETH will be grow together and ETH going to be bitcoin sidekick

What?? What made you think that? ETH is on a down treand. ALl the ICO buzz which had pumped it is fading away. There is hardly any support lelf for ETH. Don't FOMO and buy it. The people who bought cheap ETH are exiting the scenario. Don't be the person who they dump their ETH onto. Instead wait for the bitcoin dip, which we may see in mid of August and buy Bitcoins.

Highly impossible you can see the latest dump in ethereum have made is clear that if developer want can dump his coin in the market and crash the coin price and go away but in bitcoin it is not controlled by the developer as their is not a single developer it is fully developed and controlled by the users.

As I notice Bitcoin will still be increasing than Ethereum. Theres a dump for Ethereum these days  but Bitcoin still be the strongest for me. I beleive bitcoin will still be continously increasing this upcoming months.

I don't agree because ethereum going downward trend and bitcoin going upward trend ethereum will fail once lots of ICO happening based on erc 20 token proves scam.

Even though everything is possible and no one know about the future, but I think there is a big gap between the two. Bitcoin price is so much high as compare to Etherium, secondly the popularity of bitcoin is also increasing too and thirdly the users of bitcoin are also more that the popularity of Etherium and if this trend will continue the i do not think that Etherium can fail bitcoin.
