what about LTC? On Coinbase, it appears big orders are on the bid book, just not buying from ask. just waiting there to be sold to. As if they will dump LTC to cause panic selling and then buy? EUR bid book on coinbase has 4mln buy orders, just within a Euro to market price... They are waiting. for comparison: the 24h volume is just ~ 80,000 Euros. So 4m waiting is way too much waiting...

Euro markets are rather irrelevant imo, the move will start on dollar and btc markets or even in china, euro will follow thanks to bots.

it is just weird that a big sum is waiting for ltc... curious to see how this goes.

there is a problem with these walls, we can never tell if they are fake or real  its been moving slowly for several days, so we are likely find out soon which way it breaks out. You are right that there may be fake move in opposite direction before main breakout happens. It happens lots of times, as whales need to load cheaper  |

im not out yet, just not waiting for it to break above $50 anymore (as my view changed), but will get out when it corrects higher (or below $40)

I have a hard time buyin any... sitting at 38.20 Eur bid already 30 minutes, as highest bidder. noone selling. not so liquid this ltc/eur market. |

When ever there is a rally with Litecoin the price just holds up at a certain point and expect a correction and that is what happened with the coin,lets see how much further this rally will continue or will it go down further,i would not risk on entering at this price,i will book my profits if i see these sort of volume.

The price of litecoin as of now is slowly down and I hope it will increase again in the next month like 50 dollars and up. And I hope the price of litecoin before end of 2017 is $100 and I think it is possible to happen because for sure many investor will invest litecoin o the price will increase again. Buy more pitecoin if you want a lot of profit dont sell it .

my guess is down, but not a big panicky down just a slow retreat, until some other reason to rise (or fall). |

A lot will depend on what happens with the potential Bitcoin fork on August 1st.
If there is one, or even the risk of it increases, then LTC will benefit as a safe haven I think.
Maybe if bitcoin crashes everything goes down a lot, but in relation to bitcoin I think LTC will do better.

LTC trading volumes are decreasing in last time as IMO everybody is waiting to see what will happen on 1st Aug.
But for me in both cases, with or without BTC fork, LTC will gain. If not a dollar value, at least some more value to BTC.
I'm planning to post a $29-31 LTC buy order in MID Jul in case of big and unwatched dump from somebody.

Be careful with drawing conclusions from the order book. It is easy for people to pull an order from the book in seconds and people manipulate the price with big orders on the books. Litecoin has been raising recently so I would be careful. All the good news about Charlie coming back might already be priced in?  |

This is just a tactics, relax a bit, LTC still wants to go to moon. ok, pattern breaking, Im about to sell all my litecoins. will reload [if it gets] lower This will be probably mistake, because it is a trap next stop will be over 0.02 and you won't get too many chances. Volume on LTC is really slowing down.
