I got most of my bitcoins in trading. But the amount i have invested is a lot. I usually invest 3/4 of my salary to purchase bitcoins and then use them for trading. Trading has always been profitable with some basic knowledge and some good research. Mining can also be profitable if proper hardware are used. I also had a large amount of bitcoins purchased in past and profitable now.

How did you get most of the bitcoins that you currently hold? Trading? Mining? Buying?

I got mine by trading crypto coins and buying some when they were cheaper.

I wish I could trade, but I am too busy now to study trading maybe some other time. I get most of my bitcoin in campaigns here and outside the forum minute jobs

Are you leading a life just with 1/4 of your salary ? That must be great as it is showing your faith toward bitcoins as you are investing large portion of your salary into bitcoins. If you are good with your trading, I guess you might got chances to stop investing after one or two months as profits from trading would be more than enough for continuing trading and getting bitcoins for holding for future purposes.

Two- three years back, I was spending 100% of my salary to purchase Bitcoin for trading only I usually sell them off after accumulating some profits. However these days, I no longer have to spend from out of my pocket to get Bitcoin as my involvement in a number of programs and experience are now paying off.

Those ways that you said mostly happens to most of bitcoin users specially at first time of searching bitcoins to earn for, but with regards to faucets online, it was very time consuming and small amounts will be collected. Although there is some microjobs like this signature campaigns, but I am actually getting the most sources of from trading of my bounty coins from previous campaigns I had. I preferably choosing to hold my coins for a long period of time and always monitored it's fluctuations, so I sell it in a right time in order to earned good btc value in order to hold it in my wallet of bitcoin.

Indeed. I got my bitcoin in signature campaign and in trading sites.Furthermore, as of now many people and bitcoin users get their bitcoin in trading sites. Trading is one the best source of bitcoin.Lastly, many bitcoin users join in signature campaign in bitcoin forum and it is very effective.

although i am also getting some money from signature campaign, but to me my first choice is trading bitcoin and altcoin. as i have invested my own money in bitcoin and now i am using it for traind altcoin also. i am in fact getting a very good profit froom there, althogh i am also found of trading but cannot feel confidence while investing a good amount of money there. in fact gambling is more risky as compare to trading and we mostly depending on our luck there, therfore the winning chances are alwasy less there.

I have not gone into trading or mining yet, so from the forum,
I got mine from campaigns and accomplishing tasks for fellow members in the forum that pays for job done.

At first I collected bitcoins on cranes, but then I started to earn money by providing freelance services on the Internet. In the future I will be able to buy bitcoins because of a good price increase.

Same as yours I'm getting mostly my bitcoins on doing trading which I do maximize in profits in order to gain it and diversify it so that possibilities to earn even more is there and luckily I do constant earnings but there are days which I do make loss trades which is normal on trading world. There are lots of ways actually if you do picture out inside on this forum.

I bought most of my Bitcoins on LocalBitcoins

Most of us wish we could buy BTC with our money. First of all, it's costly now and on that fluctuating in very high range. Secondly, the local exchanges take more fees and the rate with our fiat is too high. Online localbitcoins is the best option.
I earn most of my BTC through selling stuff online and through different campaigns here on Bitcointalk.

Might seem like Bitcoin is very expensive now, but people felt same way couple of years back and today, they wished they had thought otherwise. It one is out to invest with Bitcoin, then the present price ought not to be a barrier as the positive project for Bitcoin still holds sway and with some good investment vehicle, one stands a good chance for a win-win situation all the way.

Not really smart investments. Those are just pumps and dumps. I would define a smart investment as something that is indeed "smart" like investing in good companies and things that are productive. Altcoins are neither. They are just pumps and dumps. It is more akin to call it as gambling rather than investing. You gamble on a coin if it would go up or not.
