So I'm back. You might not recognize this account , but that is because i made only a few posts around 2011. I was there at basically the beginning. I could be rich right now.. That's an odd thought! I was there, but i didn't put the time or effort in. Now im back, Bitcoin is higher than i ever thought it'd be, and i'm trading on exchanges. Live and learn. I feel dumb for not staying in, but smart for getting back in. What were you doing Bitcoin wise in 2011? Did you even know about Bitcoin?
In the year 2011, I don't have any idea about bitcoin. I am not aware on the internet before. Just using my social media account then post then chat, comments and personal message. I'm contented with that, I thought that it is enough for me but the year goes by, I am being curious. I want to earn money via online job I don't know where, how and when do I start. But I would say now that I have enough knowledge about internet and especially what's inside of bitcoin. We can learn from on our own way. We can learn from our experiences so treasure and valued it.

Yeah i feel that way all the time. I feel smart because I know about bitcoin and and all the theory about how to earn it and multiply but i feel dumb because I'm not using this knowledge or i can't seem to find a practical way to become rich.

I only know about it earlier this year and the price is one of the reason that makes me interested. Back in 2011 the price is low so if i had known back than, probably i'll the same as you.

If look back in 2011, honestly I do not know about bitcoin maybe I will do the same thing as you. i my opinion not many people think bitcoin can grow as much as it is today maybe there are only some people who believe or have great luck because they can buy bitcoin at cheap price.

Well, it's never too late for bitcoin, mate. Personally I haven't even discovered bitcoin just like most other people on this forum until 2013 which is when the craze of bitcoin really took off. In fact, i haven't started to actually buy bitcoin until late 2014, which somehow actually turned into one of the best decisions of my life, since bitcoin was just so cheap back then. You're lucky that you know about bitcoin, even. A lot of people out there that either think bitcoin is a scam or they have never even heard of it once in their entire life. It's quite sad when you think about it, that such a good solution to our centralized financial system doesn't get as much publicity as the Kardashians....

I guess you're not the only one like that. At that time I don't even know about bitcoin. Nor did I ever heard of it. Well, and there's no use crying over spilled milk. And now you're back, that's what matters the most. Welcome back.

Though mostly of us dont really expect it, and some are trusting the capabilities of the bitcoin so they take a risk and now i could could consider that they are successful and really earn a ton of profit. On the other hand, if we regret it way back 2011 on not holding a piece of bitcoin but now we should save a bitcoin for the future because we are sure that bitcoin will be more higher

I think I knew what bitcoin was in 2011. Someone who knew more about it than I did that actively mined btc via gpu told me it was an experiment that would never amount to anything. Listening to what he said and thinking he was more informed on the topic was a big mistake.

We all missed the train that is never coming back Not necessarily that we lost momentum with bitcoin. There is a high chance that we are still early adopters, as bitcoin has the potential to reach much higher price levels. Cash is leaving the scene, digital payments are the future and at the same time, global reserve currency keeps losing value which will only boost bitcoin's price. Bitcoin might be worth more than $10k in the next 3 years, maybe even more after next halving.

I feel dump for not taking an action. I wasted my time hanging out with friends, playing computer games back in 2009. If I had done my research and found my way into bitcoin, I might have made a good fortune by now. But I do feel Smarter than my friends who are still not interested in crypto currency and view it has a joke. I pray they would truly understand the power of crypto currencies in future.

Yes I am also early with you, my beginning when I knew the internet just opened social media and other things that I think is not useful, I was bored with the activity and finally I wonder if there is a way to earn money from the internet, and I also started looking for bit by bit and finally I found bitcoin, so I want to know more about bitcoin how it works and its usefulness and other things about bitcoin itself, I myself feel smart by knowing the existence of this bitcoin, but initially I feel Stupid because I think this is just a lie "how to get money from the internet is not possible", now I am very grateful to recognize bitcoin.

Back in 2011, I thought bitcoin was just a facked up thinking of some Japanese guy who tried to be genius and somehow discovered it.
It was all full of bad information about it and even in Youtube they put a video of how to be broke by investing in bitcoin. No one ever knew it would come to this.

Ah, I remember those days, where I was so carefree and clueless about everything, but then when someone bought me one Bitcoin for my birthday in June, everything changed. I started stressing about the price and after it rose so much I began to be carefree again, it was 2 years where i just left my one bitcoin on an online wallet and 2 years ago, I finally logged in my online wallet again and realised I just made 2K by doing nothing, then i started trading and going on this forum and 2 years after, same old, same old

I first found out about it in 2012 or 2013, not sure about the exact time but a bitcoin was worth $12 in MTGOX and the first time, I didn't stay long but came back at the $100 and left again, came back now at ~$3000 and feel I'm late but with still time left..

Most of us know that feeling. I heard about bitcoin originally back in the day in some website, I didn't pay any attention to it because I thought it was a scam that only criminals would use, and I don't want nothing to do with criminals. So I ignored the whole thing. This costed me being a retired millionaire 3 years later... so now i'll have to wait for bitcoin to reach 6 figures per coin if I want to retire... hopefully somewhere next decade. At least you got a 2011 account, that's pretty cool.

Can't remember the first time I heard about Bitcoin, think was from a Global Radio station in 2013. Thought it was some sort of hacking code. I started using Bitcoin probably 2014 or 2015, most probably 2015.

Probably back in 2011 I had no knowledge about bitcoin, I just knew bitcoin and the crypto world late last year. But I feel dumb not to trade right then and there when it was introduced to me and feel smart at the same time because when I decided to jump into this, the price of bitcoin wasn't that expensive yet like now.

I knew about it but didn't educate myself. Only really into it since 2016
You didn't said in a wide words, While it is happened in a exams time when you go and sit in the class after get a question paper and see the questions, so that happens " Oh Shit I knew about it But didn't studied " so this is the moral. i think you made a big mistake that you were aware about bitcoin and did not study at that time and did not invest your money at that time, may be it could be the source of your richness.

My initial bitcoin experience was kind of dumb and smart in a way as well. I first heard of bitcoin in 2012 when i was looking for a online poker site that allowed US players and didn't have withdrawal times of 5 months or more as the few sites that US players were allowed to play on had.
Long story short, I found Seals With Clubs poker, created a wallet and bought a bunch of bitcoins following directions on a youtube video. I essentially had no clue what bitcoin was other than that it was a way that I could play online poker with virtually instant (at the time) withdrawals of my funds. I only started really learning about bitcoin while playing for a while. Once I had a better clue/understanding, I bought even more.
So yeah, basically dumb luck led me to bitcoin. I guess I had at least a small smidgen of smarts back then as well to have known that it was at least worth taking a further risk on.
