What memory do GTX1060's have?

Im after some help regarding finding out what kind of memory certain 1060 cards have before i buy them as i would prefer not to have the dreaded hynix memory.

So can anyone tell me what memory the following cards have please?

MSI GTX1060 OCV1

Gigabyte GTX1060 WF2 (GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD)

Gigabyte GTX1060 G1 Gaming (GV-N1060G1 Gaming-6GD V2)

PNY GTX1060 OC Gaming 6GB

MSI GTX1060 Armor 6G OC

MSI GTX1060 Gaming X 6G

If anyone has any personal experience woth these cards about hashrate with ETH please comment.

I tried searching the entire GPU-Z database with these cards and the only thing is missing there is what kind of memory they are using. I then got to manufacturer website like Gigabyte and I couldn't find anything there either. You need to contact directly the support of the manufacturers via email and they will tell you, or wait until some owners of these cards tell you what memory do these cards have.

Ive done all the research i can but still no wiser. I'll start emailing manufacturers and asking them. Just hoping members on here have had experience and can confirm which has which.

Someone with that knowledge probably wont post it on a public forum. Thats quite a list and a very specific request.

That said, I can confirm that EVGA mini cards have samsung, if that helps.

Yes, I have the Gaming and Gaming SC and let me tell you, dont even buy the lowest end "Gaming" one. It uses the 1050 Ti heatsink and it is marginal, at best. Fans at 100% dual mining.... SC cards much better heatsink, hardly over 70C and like 45% fan speed.

I found that two of your mentioned cards use Samsung memory — Gigabyte GTX1060 G1 Gaming, and PNY GTX1060 OC Gaming 6GB. I don't know if that is bad or good, but at the very least, it is not Hynix.

got 5 pieces of the MSI GTX1060 Armor 6G OC and they have samsung memory. Overclocks like crazy (great for eth)

Thanks guys. Trying to get some more cards but its tougher than i thought and dont want to buy hynix ones if i do fonally manage to get my hands on some.
