Arbitrage or buying alts on different markets and then selling them to another exchanges with a better price. It’s not essential for the price to change, you are essentially profiting only from the differences in price by different providers. This is one strategy i use when short trading. But this is very rare in the market and when you see one check first the wallet if is ok to transfer.

i have tried this, the headache is not worth the profit. the biggest and most obvious risk is the price going down because someone else did what you were planning to do or someone on that platform sold and caused the price to drop.
but the worst part is waiting for some of these altcoins to confirm. many of them have broken blockchains which means disabled wallets on many exchanges or in many cases a different chain because there was a fork you didn't know about. so many seem to have a fast transaction but it takes a long time to actually reach the number of confirmation the exchange requires and that is a lot of time wasted for a tiny profit.

I noticed that problems, I guess this strategy would be good just for occasional profit opportunities and not a regular daily profit.

Thanks for the advice!

I am looking for a somewhat solid daily growth strategy to use and raise some coin.
Thanks in advance.

In my views, day trading is simply a "trading malpractice".
If you are aiming at making profits by buying goods or cryptocurrencies (here in case) just from money point of view then it is nothing less than wagering and doesn't come under legit "trading".
Considerable timing is essential for proper mature profts and in this case, profits can only be luck stricken and not assured.

Few tips from my side :
1. Never try margin trading if you don't have any idea about it and don't have huge amount of bitcoin to insure you will not loss all you have.
2. Never buy anything on peak price
3. Don't sell when  your coin gets some correction (small dump)
4. Don't follow any suggestions you might get from trollbox, chatbox etc.

Currently I do not have favorite coins ,,
The most common strategy is to look at the volume. When looking at drop coins at least 30-40% ,, there usually I start to make a purchase. But before we have to know first supply of the coins ,, in order to be calculated the price is suitable for the coin.

For more safe again ,, we add buy order under it with bigger value. This prevents when the coins drop past the first buy order ,,. To reduce the risk of loss

Hopefully help you when doing daily trading Wink

What kind of volume you pay attention to? Last 24 hours or buy and sell volume variation?

I am thinking about creating a spreadsheet to calculate the percentage change of the last minute, 24 hours and 7 days of volume variation in the 24 hours volume indicator, this is the kind of volume variation that you are talking about?

Thanks for the response.

What I often noticed was the volume of 24 hours ,, and also the percentage decrease in the price of the coin itself. The percentage of decline is usually when there is a dump, there we take the opportunity to buy cheaply and sell it when it's got a profit

Thanks in advance.

Heard any information from devs team about its development, whether this coin will rise or stay below the line forever.
Honestly, I don't trade daily or short term, because some coins usually rise up after several weeks or months such as some famous coins which has reach over $50. Visit coinmarketcap and look at the charts.

that's true those coins which still undervalued are the coin to be watch if the dev is really active and they keep providing news and development that's the coin to watch out, i don't do a day trade seen i really love to earn huge and long hold is the best way to that.

Well, I choose which coin has a great volume and I also consider the price. When the price of that coin is quite stable and the support is huge, I'm going to scalp it since it's the right coin to trade.

You're right, anecdotal examples proves nothing, don't know why I gave one, but anyway.

For your information, there are professional day traders that operate in the stock market and make a living of it. Let's analyze your theory:

"Charts doesn't make behavior patterns that can reduce the odds of "

Ok, so the expected thing to realize is the only way of getting some profit is investing, not trading, or being lucky.

So according to your theory, if I enter in an operation, my odds of getting a profit is around 50%, only higher if I do my research and invest in a good coin that are cheaper than what's really worth (and expect to people notice that after I'm in).

The next thing to expect is that professional day traders of the stock market were either unemployed or pure scammers, because as we know, professional day traders don't necessarily look for the intrinsic value of what they're buying, mainly the price behavior in the charts.

So the profit of professional day traders should be exactly 0% in the long run, because 50% chance of profit and the 1:1 ratio would end up in nothing in the long run.

I don't have to bring proof or take all bitcoins of the market for myself to prove otherwise my points are invalid because it's not just simple as that, as I said before, with the correct technical analysis you only can reduce the odds of being wrong, not predict the future.

Annnnnndd you never drew a Fibonacci in your life to see that it works most of the time.

There are professional traders who make a living in the stock market, but they aren't day traders who trade intraday and rely on technical indicators - they are money managers who rely on a combination of fundamental and technical analysis - not just technical. They mostly lean on fundamentals though.

There aren't any people who "day trade" on the stock market and make a regular income from the trades they make. People who trade on the stock market and get a regular income for it are people managing funds, making money based on fees from those funds in addition to bonuses based on fund performance. They are not day traders in the sense that you are talking about.

And just fyi, anybody on these forums claiming to be a professional day trader who makes profit every month making multiple trades every day is lying to you. Studies have shown that the more frequently people trade, the poorer their performance. Furthermore, almost nobody can consistently beat the s&p 500. One study found about 0.6% of fund managers could do it.

Seriously, go to www.demoinvestor.com and make some demo bitcoin trades. Try to beat the market. I absolutely guarantee you won't be able to do it consistently. Ask other people to try... nobody will be able to do it.

Strategies for short or daily trading I think we should always look at the market, because if we do not keep an eye on the market and prices go through some raise it will certainly make a loss. Doing daily trading can not make big profits, it would be better if done with a larger amount. I do not have favorite coins to do a short or daily trade. Before doing this trade I always see the fluctuations of some coins that have potential. Like bitcoins some time ago whose prices continue to increase in just a few hours, this situation is the right time to do daily trading.

I aim for 1%profits, sometimes 2%. try to buy bellow the lower BB on coins with some volume (top 20 on polo). If im conservative i place the sell order bellow the EMA 50, if i´m willing to risk or hold for more time i sometimes get a little more greedy and go above the EMA.

[/quote) The first advise I will give you is for you to developed your trading skills and knowledge. " short/day trade" is very profitable if you know how to do it. If you are looking for good altcoins to short then lisk, strats, litecoin and Ethereum should be the best option for you as the market fluctuations very well daily.

Just fyi, there is nobody who can consistently outperform the market by buying and selling crypto (or any asset, actually) in this small of a time frame. This is 100% luck-based gambling and there are no tips that will help you perform better other than to do thorough research and hold your positions for a much longer time. Anything other than hodling in crypto is gambling.
no matter what you do in cryto or shear or asset trading it is gambling,,, even after you do your thorough research and buy coins for a longer period it is because you are a gambler and you are willing to bet on your findings.. so still i tell you that are some other good techniques and patterns that one can bet on in short term trade and still make good profit..

For short trading i think you can choose coins that new launch in trading site where you trade. If that coin dump buy then wait an hour if you see that coins moving up and you have profit sell it then buy again.  You can roll it 3-4 times then go to another coin.  That is my strategy for short trade in oneday i saw my profit.

Exactly. The day trade is not easy but when you take total volüme and price into account. This help you increase your chance to close your position with profit.

I also check the trend. For this bitcointalk forum and some crypto web sites are really good.

Day trading is not that easy as people think, it has got lots and lots of complications incorporated into it. Even a small mistake will lead to a major loss. So before deciding yourself to be a day trader analyse well about the market and learn as much possible then decide whether it suits you. Based on that make you involved and then based on your skills you'll be profited.

Actually day trading is not posible with only wins. if you try to do day tradding you must lose than win.So if price down dont sell panic.try to hold to get profit.mind it only you lose when you buy high sell low.

For simple strategies, just read and read news regarding crypto currency, always watch thr reistance and support so you can ascertain if a coind could dump or pump. And lastly, know how big whales trade so you can benefit for them.

Best strategies = Make your own, there is no any easy to follow straight guide available for crypto trading. Buy during dump/correction and sell when there is huge pump on the coin you are holding but don't wait to get more than 1.5x from those short term trades.

Yes all coins that are in top 20 list of coinmarketcap.com are good for both short term and long term holding.

I know, probably there is a different strategy for each individual because there is so many variables that makes almost impossible a "recipe for profit", but I'm working on my own strategy and would like to see different ones and test them as well.

The top 20 list you mean in market cap or % of volume change in 24 hours?
The top 20 list on marketcap just is volume change + all value coin => Ranked up or down, if you want real top 20 altcoin, you need find and read more news about this altcoin, look like as XMR, DASH, ETH, LTC are on top 20 (my think)
