I don't panic really. When an altcoin I hold drops I know it will recover eventually because I always analyze my investment before investing in the first place. I think I will consider panicking once the internet shuts off for some reason.

Panicking when you reach around 800% profit, then it goes to 650%, then 700%, and you sell at 600% when you see it reach 500% afterwhile and take a break before investing back again when you see a calmer market.

I have been away from these panic situations, because the funds I hold in terms of bitcoin is very low compared to the people who has been holding big volume. Even when I invest big I won't be panicking, because I know about its nature as well have faith that it retains. So with trust I have been holding the small funds as an long term investment.

Before that I was panicking, I usually sell all the collected bitcoins I've got. As my way of thinking is very negative, I really don't think that holding will be a good thing so that's what I do. And as the time goes by when the price of bitcoin is increasing, I'm computing on how much I did lost and regret it.

Before when i was quite new with trading, panicking would make me sell coins at much lower price that my entry point. I've lost quite a lot with that thinking. Good thing is that lessons have been learned and i never sell now at least without breaking even. Even if i have to hold for a long time and just close my eyes for the dump, i make it a point never to sell below entry point.

What makes you panic and how do you react to it?

I am long on my investments and they are essentially my retirement funds. I still got a lot of years left to retire so I don't panic much about the corrections that happen. The secret to succeed in crypto is to hold on to projects that you believe in. And don't buy into shitty projects in the first place. This way, you panic less when tokens correct.

Feeling of worry cant really be removed into a person since we dont really like to see our money are gradually going on negative side and we do really panic specially when we are still noobs and doesnt have too much idea on doing tradings we will surely cut loses on earlier periods which causes for us to lose money and i did this thing back in the past when im in panic mode.

I panic every time the prices fall by more than 20% but then I just stop checking for a day or 2 and see where its at afterwards. I know how hard it is to remain a HODLer in bad times but I also know if I sell I will regret it later.

As long as you invest in blue chip stocks ("coins"), you shouldn't worry so much. BTC, ETH and LTC are pretty much big coins and have lots of upside potential. Time has shown that everything eventually went up.

When you are new to trading you panic more. But the more you have experience the more you stay calm. when you see same movement (ups and downs) in the past million times again and again the more you can stay calm.

For me panicking is mostly about experience.

I think you need know when time is panic and when time is bearish all market! You can see in June, all value of altcoins just breakdown although the price BTC up or down. If you use analysic chart, you will know a trend down altcoin starting in begin June and maybe end in end July or begin August. This is reason need go out altcoins now!

Panicking when you reach around 800% profit, then it goes to 650%, then 700%, and you sell at 600% when you see it reach 500% afterwhile and take a break before investing back again when you see a calmer market.

This didn't happened to me ever!!! I'm in panic when the price goes down -50% and all this happens when you wake up in the morning.

Currently there are many losses in the crypto trading because all coin are on "red", investing now is a good idea but my bitcoins are now stucked in some coins which I should get rid of them asap when the price gets up ahain.

This is a good thought process for when you make a good trade and it starts to get dumped on. I wrote about a similar experience I had back in February, where I doubled down multiple times and ended up coming away with a very large profit: http://www.demoinvestor.com/articles/00000000

That being said, in this situation it is foolish. You do not know that an alt coin is going to recover because your research on the investment bears nothing on the likelihood that its price reaches what you determined to be its value. The alt coin market is incredibly inefficient, to the point that trading them is 100% gambling. Trying to make money on an alt coin trade is luck based and no amount of research will change that. Your odds are just as good at a casino, maybe even better.

I think that those people who chose their way into the crypto currency were initially prepared for greater risks. So sooner or later, only morally strong people remain with us. I rarely panic. I'm just sometimes upset

I never panic when I see the price move either way, if you panic during such times, I would definitely reconsider being a trader in the first place.
You just have a make a calculated desicion zhether you buy or sell and you should think of that before the price changes.

Even if the price dropped back to $1000, I'd still be very happy, I probably would have sold in time and that gives me the chance to buy Bitcoin really cheap.

The amount of panic that I might experience is usually in proportion to the amount of risk that I'm taking. Trading with $200 isn't going to make me as nervous as trading with $10,000. I wouldn't call it panic though. It's more like an adrenaline rush Smiley

How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?

let me introduce you to a nice little feature called stop loss.
you set a number which is usually the percentage that you are willing to lose and then when that number is reached your coins will be automatically sold.
some trading platforms already offer this feature and for others you can always use a bot or even manually at worse case laziness scenario.
it needs a clear plan and a good discipline to perform this strategy though.

of course it is always best to have a good timing. for example when you see there is a bull market and prices are rising (or better if you can figure it out before it starts) you buy and enjoy the ride and when the dumps come you just simply stay away.
and this is not as hard as you may think either.

and as always i will continue t HODL bitcoin no matter what. because i have invested as much as i can afford to lose and i am so far in profit that i no longer care Cool
