Following on from this thread:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1956491.320

I am posting here incase the scammer deletes/modifies my post.

I THINK I FOUND A WAY TO IDENTIFY THE OWNER OF THESE SITES! Here is what i found:

Cryptoclone
IP:     94.156.128.189
Host:  BelCloud Hosting (registered in seychelles)
Server: Telepoint Datacenter in Bulgaria

Cryptiply
IP:      94.156.128.108
Host:  BelCloud Hosting (co-incidence that the host is the same?)

Who is BelCloud Hosting?
Started in 2014, they registered in seychelles  due to privacy laws but are actually based in Bulgaria. I read the terms on their website and here are the important bits:

Quote
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you place an order and become our customer. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you will be asked to enter the following information: Personal Name, Company Name, E-mail Address, Mailing Address, or Phone Number. We do not collect or store any credit card details on our web site.

Quote
Do we disclose any information to outside legal parties?
We will not disclose any information that we collect or that is entrusted to us to any attorneys, law firms, courts, or law enforcement agencies unless otherwise presented with an official court order executed by a judge or magistrate within the Republic of Seychelles.

The most important bit

Quote
After you have cancelled your account with BELCLOUD HOSTING CORPORATION, your private information will not be kept on file for more than 30 days.

Basically, within 4 weeks someone needs to contact a lawyer in the seychelles to get a local judge to force them hand over his name and other details.

Here are the company details (use dots in the space ofc)

www host ag/about

I hope this info is useful, if you wish to offer thanks here is my tip jar Smiley

It seems there is a new countdown clock, 4 weeks until this person walks free. After that there is no realistic chance of identifying / finding this person ...

Why do you assume they used their real name with that hosting service? They would never do that.

It appears that belcloud is renown for hosting shady websites, here is an article on the cisco website:

Quote
... In the current bitcoin phishing campaigns, O’Connor said the primary hosts for the phishing sites are Belcloud in Bulgaria, ...

Another scam hosted by belcloud

The starting point to finding these scammers is with the webhosts. I wonder how many scam sites are hosted by belcloud. They have good reviews at the moment 9.5 / 10 !
