This morning i was a bit shocked to see a new mail in my inbox claiming there was a successful login attempt.
Have changed the pwd but idk it is fishy. My machine is running a proper av and this has not happened on any other account.
I have a unique pwd and luckily no funds on it. The support has not responed until now- 9 hours later...

I just have to congratulate you that you maintain an empty account with poloniex though you have changed your password; i will also suggest you enable your 2-factor for proper security.

Poloniex supports sucks dont expect any response from them soon.

The security of our trading accounts is in our hands because we feel the pain more when our funds are been stolen.

Which better market are you talking about? can you share with me?

luckily no funds at your hacked account, but i want to know how that hacker hack your account? i want to know it to prevent my exchanges account getting hacked and want my exchanges account always safe, but i always use 2fa authentication for my account security, hope this way is enough to secure my account

It kinda sucks that somehow i have no real way to tracethis hacker  Embarrassed, i do not know how they got a hold of my credentials.
However i read that other ppl have silmiar issues and in some cases a security-mechanism froze their accounts before the hacker could transfer money.
This makes me suspect that someone got a hold of the hashed password-database and is in the process of cracking them.
that my acc was affected would be explainable by the "a bit simple" unique pwd i used before.
