This comes as great news to me! Josh Woodward is a pretty big artist on Jamendo and elsewhere. Anybody else love his music?
He accepts Bitcoin: https://blockchain.info/address/1KpvdeHfLnMtL1C8daUCsTdrqucjF56u2d
Verify at: http://www.joshwoodward.com/store/
Btw I sent a test donation of ~5$ worth of BTC.

Here's him playing live at Coffee Amici "Josh Woodward: Live @ Coffee Amici - Dec. 8, 2012": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYyo7q922-s

I sent him a message in Dec 2, 2012, asking if he accepts Bitcoin, I got almost an immediate reply he didn't know about it. Today he says he's taken "the plunge" into Bitcoin. Awesome, now I can show my appreciation in Bitcoin!  Grin

Update as of Aug 5th 2013: I tipped Josh with 10$ worth of BTC as I downloaded an old album of his "Only Whispering", released in 2006.
Amount: 0.09518684 BTC (~10$)

There may still be hope for the 1st decentralized cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. How to approach different subjects is key to progress.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Just a question. I feel a bit akward. Seriously, am I the only person on Bitcointalk who likes the music by Josh Woodward?  Huh

Anyway, I guess most people here are not familiar with indie artists Cheesy

I have heard some of his work on Jamendo, and it's not the kind of music I usually listen to. So at least you're not alone on the "I know who Josh Woodward is" category Smiley Anyway, it's great to know he's accepting bitcoin donations, and I hope more artists start doing the same so that I can finally donate to my favorite ones...

Donation (for the beer) sent!

Not my "cup of tea", but music is written and produced very well. And the fact that he takes BTC is really an extra bonus.

Yeah, but Josh Woodward has revamped his website and instead of as I erroneously thought that he had removed Bitcoin donations, instead he has also made Bitcoin links clickable(URI!) so it's easier to Bitcoin-donate and Bitcoin-flattr. Before it was just a bitcoin:blabla in text that wasn't clickable and now all this has been improved with links! Isn't it just wonderful?  Wink

Now the options to donate are:
1. Patreon
2. PayPal Donation
3. Bitcoin Donation
4. Bitcoin QR code

 Cool
