Yeah...

It was only a thread with over 3000 views and 60 replies by other users...

it's totally Synaptic's fault that it was deleted...cause he used all caps in the thread title...

Another ad hominem...

What, no red herring for us too?

Anyway, the  honorable people here will hopefully be asking the mods/admins for an explanation.

Synaptic, you're rude as hell and generally obnoxious. About par for the course for here.

Mods, start explaining about the deletion. Suppressing discussion like that looks extremely bad, especially at a time like this.
Don't worry, they don't have to explain anything - they can just delete this thread too. Synaptic's thread wasn't the only one that mysteriously went missing; so did the original thread that started all this and several other threads that were negative about Bitcoin or MtGox.

Wow, I didn't know about that...

Heh, wow, good to know I wasn't the only target, maybe even more people will start speaking up about this curropt "OFFICIAL" forum...

Pathetic.

I would much rather press the mods for an explanation of why they haven't deleted you yet.  I would happily re-type that entire thread from my browser's cache if only someone would make good on your repeated promises to leave these forums for good.

Synaptic, a lot of people on this forum have a disdain for the the main stream media. The msm has already been calling scam and ponzi scheme for weeks which means that even if Sotashi himself came out and admitted it they wouldn't believe it.

It was deleted by Sirius. Probably because it was one of the low-quality "SELL SELL SELL" topics that have been flooding the forum over the last few weeks. It received many reports.

Except the topic was about leaving MtGox . . . not BitCoin.

Say, you wouldn't happen to be the same theymos that is #8 on the MtGox account list, would you? Cause that sure would be an interesting coincidence.

I don't agree with the deletion at all. Of course, I don't know what was in the thread beyond the first couple of pages, as I didn't stick around to read it. Neither can I now know. If a thread needs shutting down, lock it. Deletion is extreme.

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about using this forum at the moment.

+1

As much as I find Synaptic shrill and annoying he has made some valid points and I'd quite like to have read what other people on the thread had to say.

I'm not sure how I feel about using bitcoin at all right now which is sad because I was quite excited by its potential.

Get it through your head people.  This is not a free forum.  The debate is being manipulated for the benefit of large interests.

well, well.

amid all your endless FUD and bullshit, you've finally gotten something right.

no - it is not a free forum.  we are guests in somebody else's home.

they pay for it.
