Even with the hickups and I have only just got into bitcoins at the start of the month but I am happy to be in this at this early stage of it.
I am not trying to equate my short time with it with those people who have slogged it out from day one, I have spent all my time reading up on it from every angle I can and think it will work that there are enough who have been through teething problems before and I for one am in for the count.
I think its one of the best things for humanity thats been put forward for some time if ever or at least it can be if you can wear some lumps otherwise its best not to play. I am not happy about the security side of trading atm but stuff will get worked out and be more friendly as time goes by, trick is to stay and be part of it. Dont put up what your not prepared to loose for awhile yet.

well, "early days". I could kick my ass for not joining Bitcoin in the very beginning, when I heard of it. I thought its not worth it. But recently I looked at it again, and saw what a Bitcoin is worth. Would I have mined back then, I guess I would have a few thausend Bitcoins :/.

however, good to have you onboard

I love this bumpy ass ride.

Are you sure that "bumpy ass" isn't something contagious you picked up?  Whatever you do, please do not pass it along Smiley

It's a wild ride, but as Ayn Rand said:

"A desire presupposes the possibility of action to achieve it; action presupposes a goal which is worth achieving."

And this is one goal well worth achieving!

"Slogged it out"? Nobody has slogged anything out.

Running a mining operation for profit is a different matter altogether.

Being a latecomer doesn't give you any less rights.

Add me to the list of people who have known about and been curious about Bitcoin for a while, but just got around to starting to play with it.

Its a good time to be in Bitcoin.

The bumpy ride were seeing at the moment is simply teething issues. Security is playing catchup. But theres a LOT of interest in Bitcoin being generated.

The good thing is the value of Bitcoin at the moment is low. Potentially it could go to $100, $1000, or more PER COIN. No-one can say for sure where it will end up. But at $13 its a steal.

Its still early days. Theres still a huge amount of money to be made for those that play their cards right.
