Do Altcoins really have a future?

Definitely,it's like the phone initially was great, not convenient,then became less a BRICK,not that it was not only snake))And view it's only been 13-17 years since the advent of the first telephone,and how much the world has changed,I predict that in 15-20 years,we the world know!!!!

I think if the Altcoins continue to be popular and to be known its not impossible.And if Altcoins continue to be a part of the Peoples choice or to continie to have its purpose in the cryptocurrency world I think it will be an effective way to people who uses cryptocurrencies or particular to altcoins.

Not all of them because many times it happens that altcoins are used by pump and dump groups who make the fun of it really and it becomes useless in long run. Why that happens? Because due to unwanted pumps and occasional dumps makes many people believe that the particular coins is not safe to invest their money in and such coins are then abandoned by many big investors and middle investors which leads to almost zero value one day.

It seems to me that among all the coins, the most realistically applied is ETH. It has a stable number of transactions, most ICO is made on the basis of ETH. ETH for me is much more realistic than bitcoin. Among other altcoins, there are also perspective coins, but which of them will capture the market is difficult to predict.

There are too much altcoins in market i think of course 99.9% of them are already useless or will be but the 0.1% will make the difference.
Bitcoin is great now but it's just the first crypto curency, i'm confident than new crypto will be launch with disruptive ideas we even can't think about now. Bitcoin could still be a store value,as real gold now.But maybe not as useful on a day to day basis as it is right now.

I do believe that altcoins have a future. ANd i shure believe that it will have a brighter future then bitcoin. I think bitcoin will always be stable and high value. But you could not use it as everyday payment. So i think theres a altcoin needed for everyday payment. And it has to be a very good one who can handle all the transactions worldwide permanantly. So o think until now theres no cryptocurrency out who could handle world wide transaction.

I think only small part of altcoins will live because many simply can not stand the long-term decline of the market and regulation by the states.

Most of the altcoins have no good reason to exist. They will vanish eventually.

This question to me is akin to asking if Initial Public Offers and Stocks still has a future. ICOs and Alts replaces the traditional stock markets and shares. Though the ICO craze is slowed and Altcoins are now profits less the future is still bright. Afterall, the blockchain is a technology for today and the future.
