I have sent today a MANUAL-CLAIM to cfb with the new adress. Is it enough or should I use skype ?

I am in list #2 but David had me email my seed back in June. Do I qualify for a manual claim with Skype verification?

That's very unsafe CfB, I have a genesis figure on that seed, and it is in the open. If the address is empty on releasing the Recovery Tool, there is nothing I can do. Could you squeeze me in list #1 ?

These are different lists with different workflows for obtaining the iotas.

David just said that the manual claims would all together be less than 27TI left, but did anyone here got any manual claims already?

Thanks S2. I fear that many in Round 2 have sent their seed by email to David, as per the instructions in this thread and on Slack. This is a major security risk, because anybody getting hold of David's email account can pick up the seeds and make millions on Iota Recovery Tool day... I think we should assess how many claimants are involved and insist that Round 2 claimants who sent their seeds to the Iota team should have their funds restored manually before the Recovery Tool is released in the coming weeks. We could actually be confronted to more than one looter when trying to retrieve our funds on that day

One thought CfB: will the Iota Recovery Tool be available only to confirmed Round 2 claimants? If it is made public, could Round 2 claimants have access to the Recovery Tool a few days before it is released publicly? That would allow us to retrieve our funds safely.

What safety do you mean?

The tool will be used to recover iotas lost during all address transitions.
